A scientific team, made an accurate biometrical comparisation. They wanted to demonstrate it's an hoax but the result is...the opposite I will upload the entire article (in italian) if you want

Oh yeah, great news! Biometric comparison works! It's good to know someone has finallly taken a serious scientific approach to this. By all means Ilras, go ahead and download the article. Italian should be fairly easy for us to translate.

This is supposed to prove what? Don't come screaming "Finally!" before you've got anything to show. This is nothing so far. Why didn't you just upload the full thing? And please translate it, if you want us to understand. You see, most people outisde italy doesn't speak italian.

Any suggestion?

il ras, send it to me at the address in my profile, I think what I'll do is OCR it into text, and then post it. (in Italian) But, with a text file, people can run it through their favorite translator or use whatever other means at their disposal. I'm assuming the problem is you have only a series of images and not pure text? Like Pineapples said, if you like..

il ras, what magazine is the article in? Tell us about that magazine! "Wired" is a techno-geek magazine that can be found on a lot of newstands in the United States. www.wired.com/wired/The Italian version must operate independently since the U.S. August 2009 version of "Wired" has Brad Pitt on the cover. www.popcrunch.com/brad-pitt-wired-magazine-august-2009/If what you've shown isn't some sort of National Lampoon/Onion type parody of either the magazine or of the PID/PWR legend, then it looks quite interesting. I've always been PID-cynical but interested -- thinking to myself that this couldn't possibly have happened, and yet with all that's out there...maybe...maybe... I still think that it's a virtual impossibility...so much so that I briefly went under the moniker "67 probably 2009". And yet...and yet...if the article from the Italian "Wired" is a legitimate article based on legitimate science, I'd love to know what it said. Of course, as others are going to point out, if there really is "biometric" proof that there's been a replacement, that's not the same thing as proof that the original is dead. But the death/car crash clues are out there for a reason.

Here's the link to the Italian online version of Wired. There seems to be no mention of the PID article. I searched for "paul mccartney" and got no matches. Maybe there's a lag between the print and online versions. www.wired.it/

Thanks il ras, looks interesting! Other interested parties, I will get to work on it tomorrow. I ran it through Acrobat's OCR function on a preliminary basis, and it looks promising accuracy-wise, but I want to do this with a proper attention to detail.. Gotta fuss with this and that to get it right, but I'll work as fast as possible.

I searched for "paul mccartney" and got no matches. www.wired.it/Yeah, but if you click on the "magazine" tab, it brings you to an image of the the July issue, August it would seem is not online yet. il ras definitely sent me a scan of a print edition.. Perhaps I'll do both, make a text version and make something that can be posted as inline images here.

This is one of those stories that might not make it to the online version, if Macca's lawyers hear about it.

The fact that Brad Pitt is on the cover of the U.S. August 2009 issue suggests that maybe this story has already been killed for whatever reason.

Google search using keywords "McCartney" "Wired" and "Morto" fails to disclose any reference to this story.

Doesn't "Wired" seem like the most dredible source ever? They had "Brad Pitt" on the cover and on thier websire there was a "Top 10 Weird Ways To Distribute Music" Seems like you cannot trust these guys more than you can trust a Tabloid, but hey, we'll just have to wait and see what the final translated thing looks like
