Congratulations!
You have just found the "Crossover False Paul McCartney".

His first appearance was on "Beatles For Sale" album cover

Tip: see the strange "scar" on the chin, the different jawbone shape, the different nostrils, the embossed lips.

He is NOT "our" Faul

This is getting interesting....

"Beatles For Sale" cover:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatles_for_Sale

"Beatles for Sale is The Beatles' fourth album, released in late 1964 and produced by
George Martin for Parlophone. The album marked a minor turning point in the evolution of Lennon and
McCartney as lyricists, John Lennon particularly now showing interest in composing songs
of a more autobiographical nature. "I'm a Loser" shows Lennon for the first time seemingly coming
under the influence of Bob Dylan, whom he met for the first time in New York while on tour,
on 28 August 1964.

Only six days separated the last full band session for A Hard Day's Night (2 June) and the first
for Beatles for Sale. Prior to the new recording sessions, the band toured Australia and New Zealand
(after a two-show night in Hong Kong), played concerts in the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden
and made several television, radio and live concert appearances in the UK. Music critic Stephen Thomas
Erlewine of Allmusic said, "It was inevitable that the constant grind of touring, writing, promoting,
and recording would grate on The Beatles," leading to ..."
"...the band's visible weariness...

He was "Character Paul" on "Rubber Soul" (BTW) cover ...

"...but NOT on "Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby 45 rpm cover."

which is the picture of Paul wearing a blue collar, if I'm not mistaken. At least where
GN lives. In the US, this was the cover for that single:

I have to say that the 'blue collar' Paul always seemed questionable to me, but he may
be the original. Hard to say really. What is odd about that cover is that Ringo and Paul are
wearing blue, while George and John aren't, imo.

The "Eleanor Rigby" page at wikipedia is an interesting read.

Funny that the English promotional poster for the record was another "Paul in jail" image.

Since "crossover Paul" is clearly a convincing replacement, why go through getting Pearl Witherington to have a sex change and become Neil, Vivian, AND Paul?

Good question.
I know there is some confusion now.
Let me explain.
Pearl Witherington (AKA Pauline it's not me who called her that way) was actually Marie, Paul's mother as one can see on the cover of "Woman" the Mike McGear album.

Phil Ackrill was and still is today the replacement of Paul McCartney, our "Faul"
He was a Vivian Stanshall performer too, while at the beginning of his presence in Beatle entourage he was disguised by a Neil Aspinall look.

Assuming that Pauline was "Crossover False Paul"

all those lyrics:

"You better see right through that mother's eyes"
and
"Jump when your momma tell you anything"
from "How do you sleep"

and lyrics:

"In case of accidents he always took his mom"
from "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill"

make sense.

Now my opinion is that Pearl died in 1995 and Phil performed her too from that year to make her getting the "Wing" prize.

So you think Mary/Pearl is "crossover Paul"?

You made this:

and this:

and this,

showing that you think she plays our current "Faul".

You're changing your mind now?

That's my question now.

I am not sure that Pauline was "Crossover False Paul" ... but I am working on ...

so if there was a 'crossover' Paul as far back as 1964, why did they do it? What happened? What happened to the real Paul Mcartney?

"One day, you'll look, and see I've gone
But tomorrow may rain, so: I'll follow the sun"

I think we're supposed to understand that he went on a journey,
akin to the one depicted in the Kubrick movie "2001 - A Space Odessy".
(I know you're relatively new here, but this has come up for discussion before.)

I think that's the story that Paul's disappearance is supposed to tell.
That is, Paul had to leave for a while, so Faul filled in.

Whether or not that is "What happened to the real Paul Mcartney?", I don't know.
(Understand that if Paul actually died, his spirit might have made such a journey, as well.)
If he just "retired", and remained alive physically, the 'official story', as it were, is supposed
to suggest that he went away for a bit.
Perhaps best thought of as a trip through TIME as much as a trip through space.

"The Prince and the Pauper is an English-language novel by American author Mark Twain. It was first published in 1881 in Canada before its 1882 publication in the United States. The book represents Twain's first attempt at historical fiction. Set in 1547, the novel tells the story of two young boys who are identical in appearance: Tom Canty, a pauper who lives with his abusive father in Offal Court off Pudding Lane in London, and Edward VI of England, son of Henry VIII of England."

Have to cover all the bases, you know. :D 8-)

Siriusly, I have to think that if James Bond can be goldenianeye,

then Tutankhamun is Shirley in the mix!

Tutankhamun was nine years old when he became pharaoh and reigned for approximately ten years. In historical terms, Tutankhamun's significance stems from his rejection of the radical religious innovations introduced by his predecessor and father, Akhenaten. Secondly, his tomb in the Valley of the Kings was discovered by Carter almost completely intact — the most complete ancient Egyptian royal tomb ever found. As Tutankhamun began his reign at such an early age, his vizier and eventual successor Ay was probably making most of the important political decisions during Tutankhamun's reign. ;)

Tutankhamun was one of the few kings worshiped as a god and honored with a cult-like following in his own lifetime. A stela discovered at Karnak and dedicated to Amun-Re and Tutankhamun indicates that the king could be appealed to in his deified state for forgiveness and to free the petitioner from an ailment caused by wrongdoing. Temples of his cult were built as far away as in Kawa and Faras in Nubia. The title of the sister of the Viceroy of Kush included a reference to the deified king, indicative of the universality of his cult.

Perhaps the point most to B made was that Paul's disappearance may have involved a long journey.

"... A man going into a far country, called his servants, and delivered to them his goods;
And to one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to every one according
to his proper ability: and immediately he took his journey..."
