I believe the announcer on the latest batch of iamaphoney videos is a well-known advertisement "voice-over" person in the United States. I don't know the fellow's name, but his voice has been used in many commercials here, some for "Smuckers" jam among them. I mention this because whoever iamaphoney is, he probably shelled out a fair amount of money to hire this guy. -------------------- TheWingedBeatle 4/5 www.youtube.com/watch?v=tddeL0VtJuoARE3RA 2010 2011 2012

comment from tafultong's blog: "Mason Adams is dead said... '...Mason Adams is dead Mason Adams (February 26, 1919 – April 26, 2005) was an American character actor and voice-over artist. During the 1960s he was ubiquitous as a voiceover actor in television commercials for food and other household products, most notably for Chiffon margarine and Crest toothpaste ("Helps stop cavities before they start"). He also did the vocal part of the television commercials for Smucker's preserves ("With a name like Smucker's, it has to be good!") How did a dead guy do the iamaphoney voice overs?! HE WAS REPLACED JUST LIKE PAUL!" Smucker's Simply Fruit Spreadable Fruit commercial www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GIOodvaDuQhmmm.... The masons again, eh? ;D

Does sound like a seasoned, professional announcer.
But what is this: (Winged Beatle 4/5)
Anthology II was ready for release in February 1996. 2 1/2 million copies were loaded onto trucks and were about to leave the factory headed for the stores. Paul McCartney demanded that they change direction at the last minute. Instead of heading for the stores, they were returned... and all of them burned. Paul paid 12 million dollars to have them destroyed. The official explanation was that two songs had to change place.
Curious if there is a source for this? Up until the announcer dropped that on the table, it was routine stuff.. Just that Sir Paul ain't laying out that kind of dough for no good reason, multi-millions in the bank notwithstanding.

How odd it must have been for Mary to interview James Paul. (the guy on the right) He has that much lower set left eye that's a JPM trademark, missing to the same degree in the guy she was interviewing before.

"Once you start tampering with Beatles material, you're tampering with the Holy Grail" - Sir George Martin Or, in other words, one thing leads to the other. Some call it magic, the search for the Grail. Love is the answer, and you know that - for Real. we're on our way home!

Ha ha. Someone must have pointed this out before but that Ian Iachimoe-sponsored competition at around 11:08 of the first part of The Winged Beatle suggests that if Jane Asher ever did decide to spill the beans, there probaby wouldn't be much juicy stuff there. In fact, by the sounds of it, she's probably never spilled a single bean in her life. Poor lad.
