OK, I knew there was something missing around here. My fave forum "game".... the song title thread. This always prompts me to look thru my collection, which will sometimes prompt me to play something I wouldn't normally be playin'. Cool....
I'll start with a song title.... the next person will post the very first song to come to mind. Usually there will be a common word or phrase linking the 2, but that isn't neccessary to play. And it can be any artist.... not just Beatles, but I'll start with.....
STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER- The Beatles

"Arthur Murray Taught Me Dancing in a Hurry"
50's novelty song by Johnny Mercer and Victor Schertzinger.

I got a little stuck. Or, Nadia's Theme, or Tara's Theme, or Theme for "Ben Hur", Theme from Dr. Zhivago.....nearly any well known Hollywood movie........or australia Theme from "The Man from Snowy River"....... (nice film)
or "Arthur in the Afternnon" by Kander and Ebb.......(Broadway)
I'll try to put on my "pop music" brain in the next round.........it needs some exersizing anyway...

Bless the Beasts and the Children the Carpenters recorded it; was it Paul Williams who wrote that one? He wrote everything in the mid 70's....
