Hello lovelies of NIR,
I have been reading around this board and have noticed that there seems to be a rift in our community. I love it here. I think we have some of the brightest people around working with us and I love all of the different perspectives that are presented. I am not always swayed by the statements of others, but I do my best to respect what everyone has to say whether I agree or not. (I am deeply sorry to anyone that I ever offended, hurt, etc. if this has not been your experience with me.) After all, aren't we all after the same thing: a search for the truth? We never will all agree on absolutely everything, obviously, but I don't think that means that our differences should necessarily lead to animosity towards others. I am now almost afraid to voice my own thoughts on issues because it seems that, if people do not agree on every minute detail in some cases, it is no longer a discussion, but an argument, one in which some hurtful things may be said. I'm a bit of a hippie, I know, and it probably can get really annoying. That said, I think that sometimes we lose sight of the main purpose of this forum: to explore the PWR/PID theories, make new discoveries, and collaborate by bouncing ideas off of one another in friendly discussion to enlighten others and perhaps become more enlightened ourselves.
Just an observation from CoconutFudge, your resident blonde/flower child. Eek, please don't hurt me!

Well, I think that could be said of all of us, this is a forum and subject to different perspectives. As long as those "differences" are not going to cause name calling and other disrespectful behavior, then we are within the rules of this forum.
Some of us may get a little silly occasionally, and is not meant to detract from the seriousness of Paul being replaced or other celebrities and those discussions. When I go off on one of my silly tangents, I'm not trying to make light of this serious problem, but more of a release valve so the pressure does not cause one to go totally insane looking at all the evils that take place in replacing people in the spotlight, whether they are entertainment figures, or political and/or religious figures.

Great post, Coconut Fudge. I also love both coconut & fudge ! ;D Anyway, I couldn't agree more. I have put a muzzle on some of my own theories because I don't want to put myself in a situation in which I could be ridiculed by others. Like yourself, I'm also a laid back & basically happy go lucky person. And Rita, I think that you & Doc are the release valves of this forum.

Absolutely, but I do think that, as the RA thread pretty much shows, it many times DOES lead to disrespect on many parts, and I think it kind of accumulates as more people get involved until it's a big mess or disrespect and personal attacks and the such. I didn't mean to imply that everyone should agree on everything while skipping along holding hands and singing happy songs, as I love all of the different ideas that are proposed here, but I am just venting about how I personally feel about the way sometimes threads end in animosity and mean-spiritedness, you know? And yes--you are a very refreshing element! I don't think I've ever seen you be disrespectful at all, that's for sure, but you most definitely have made me giggle on more than one occasion. ;D Thanks, mommybird! I don't know how much consolation it will be to you, but I absolutely love your posts! I think you have some amazing ideas and are extremely intelligent and well-versed on this subject matter. I always feel like I learn something from your posts.
