Alistair Taylor, died overnight in a hospital near his home in northern England. He was 69 years old. His warmth, charm and willingness to share his wonderful stories about The Beatles to anyone who wanted to listen made him a favorite. It was a honour and a privilege to have assisted Alistair in getting his first book published in America in 1991 (Yesterday, My Life with The Beatles). In all his appearances at our FESTS, he never uttered a negative word about his former employees. He only related how much fun, joy and craziness they added to his life. One of our fonded memories of Alistair was when Carol and I took him for dinner at the top of The World Trade Center. It was a very special evening for all of us (and the only time we ever had dinner there). He will be greatly missed by all who got to know him. The Beatles were very lucky to have him on their side all those years. May he rest in peace. www.alistairtaylor.com
