Heh, my musical tastes are even skewed among fellow Beatles fans. My top twenty would probably be a lot more post '66-heavy, with the only pre-Bill songs being In My Life, Help, Drive My Car, and Eleanor Rigby.
I think it's mind-boggling that Penny Lane didn't make the top twenty, let alone the top ten.

I think it's mind-boggling that Penny Lane didn't make the top twenty, let alone the top ten. I don't understand that either. PennyLane is one of their best songs. It was on the same record as "Strawberry Fields Forever". It was a great record and the fact that it get's "honorable" mention really sucks. It's sort of like saying: Announceress: "And now...the also-rans! Congrat's' PennyLane! You didn't win the grand prize, but we have some really wonderful parting gifts for you. We've got a blender, a toaster oven, some M&M's. A really nice selection of CD's including "All Time Beatles Top 20"..ooopps! Sorry to bring that up, PennyLane. Well, at least you got a mention, ha ha ha ha!" ;D Sheeshhh!

One more thing: "All You Need Is Love" didn't make the top 20 either. That really sucks. I guess they just had SO many hits that a lot of them got left in the dust...

Oh I am feeling so neglected I'd file a complaint if I were you, lol. ;D But the list itself is interesting. Not to confuse my own POV, with the posting of the list itself. Good job, Darkhorse. Thanx for sharing it.
