Remember I am only saying that John agreed to be in the film after Paul's death not that the film wasn't in the works. Sure Lester may have asked John awhile before September and John may have been considering it but he may have not agreed to do it until he needed a way to deal with the tragedy.

Well, they were going to take a break from touring regardless, right? I think John was just looking for something to do to pass the time. I do believe it's likely the reason Ringo visited him in October though was for the both of them to cope with whatever happened to Paul.

If it is documented somewhere before September of 1966 that the Beatles were intending on taking a break then we need to come up with that information. I still think John doing the movie and George going to India were a result of Paul's death and dealing with it.

I think if he died it was probably either November 1966 (out of the country? hmmmmm) or Jan 67, where there was a rumor that he did indeed die in a crash. I think he is probably alive anyway, and the 60if document makes me heave.

I think he is probably alive anyway, and the 60if document makes me heave. The clues all point to September 11th or 12th of 1966. The date of November of 1966 along with the name William Campbell is an intentional deception of the facts.

Right. It would have to be mid-to-late September, and I think the 11th - 3rd is the timespan in which it happened. There are a few pictures, as well as Mal Evan's movies, of Faul in November. November makes no sense as the death month, as that's when McCartney's activities are chronicled again, after nothing in the latter part of September and all of October.

I also think the November date was deliberately planted as disinformation, which could then be easily discredited by showing Faul's November activities. When people hear a half-true story that's easily "disproven", they tend to reject the whole PID theory.

This has been brought up before on TKIN forum and once here, but it doesn't get much attention, so I thought it would be worth mentioning it again.
From the same book:
February 12 1970 -Paul had been working on his own solo album since the end of 1969, using a Studer four-track at his home in Cavendish Avenue. He tested the machine by recording 'The Lovely Linda', then recorded 'That Would Be Something', 'Valentine Day', 'Momma Miss America (Rock'n'Roll Springtime)', 'Glasses', 'Oo You', 'Teddy Boy', 'Junk' and an instrumental of the same tune called 'Singalong Junk'. He had to make guessed about the levels because the machine had no properly functioning VU meters so he continued work at Morgan Studios, booking himself in under the name Billy Martin. There he cut 'Hot As Sun' and, on this day, "Kreen-Akore'. He went on to make eight-track copies of his four-track masters so that he could overdub onto them.
Februrary 2, 1970 -Abbey Road. Paul's McCartney sessions. Once again booked in as Billy Martin, Paul began mixing his eight-track masters.
Things that make you go WHA?

...I like the September 20th date now. My mind is changed from September 13 to September 20 for Stupid Bloody Tuesday, at least for the time being. Paul gets into the accident on September 11, dies on September 12 and is discovered on September 20. Hey sounds sorta like the original 60IF.

Here's an image from the book I've been meaning to scan. It's probably already been shown here and I'm just forgetting, but it never hurts to go back over old information. Forgive the low quality. This is Paul McCartney at Barry Miles' Indica Gallery (where John would meet Yoko in November '66) at some point after Candlestick. No exact date, or even month, is given though. It's definetely Paul. Hard to say if this is after the Melody Maker Awards pictures or not. Even if you were to argue that there's only one Paul and that we're all clinically insane, notice the length of his hair... it would be pre-Africa for sure.

Could it be a bit later than the MM awards, judging by his hair length? It looks shaggier to me in the Indica photo. Alternatively he could have gotten a haircut just before the awards, in which case the Indica photo was earlier.

Okay, let's say it was later. I want to compare it with the Kenya pictures. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 1. Melody Makers (September '66) 2. Indica Gallery (pre-Kenya) 3. Kenya (early November '66) 4. Kenya (early November '66) 5. Return from Kenya (early November '66) You could argue that Paul was due for a haircut, but Bill's hair could also be interpreted as somebody who's just growing a Beatles cut. Also, notice how chubby Paul's face was getting, and then compare it to his look in Kenya.

The stress of being on holiday caused him to suddenly lose weight. Yeah, that's the ticket. The guy next to Paul in the Indica photo could pass for Austin Powers.

It is interesting looking at the September timeline to see when Paul "died" but if you look at that movie "How I Won the War" (on YouTube) than you see than "John" was a BAD replacement in that movie. I think they were all replaced at this time because of the "bigger than Jesus" comment. They realised that the whole thing was crazy and time to get out (or they were forced out).

Big Bob laid out a great series of events here, they may or may not be in order, but who else is checking?
21. Getting a housekeeping couple (the Kellys) who were sacked when he found out they'd given a sneaky interview about his house and private life to Australian press while he was out of the country.
"The Bloke ate a lot of Pancakes..."
Or:
Billy Likes To Drink Soda
From the Horrendous film, "Billy Madison", starring Adam Sandler. The bad guy pays off the Janitor of the school to spy on Billy. All the Janitor discovers is Billy likes soda, and his second grade teacher drives a green car.
When things are slow here, I'm reminded of this scene.
