I brought this up before, but with more eyes here, I'm curious to see the response. Does anyone have the vintage Pepper album or has heard of this before? www.george-martin.com/read_gm.html11/8/02 12:01:48 AM 152.163.188.37 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; AOL 7.0; Windows NT 5.0) Dear Sir: I am a physician and retired American Astronaut. In the spring of 1967, I bought a Sgt. Pepper LP in Palo Alto, California on the day the album was released. I later discovered that its black vinyl glowed with a strange yellow-green pattern when exposed to a black (i.e. UV) light. I still have it, and it still does this. I have been unable to find anyone who is aware of this phenomenon Can you shed any light on this subject? Thanks. William F. Fisher, M.D. wff1360@aol.com Boy would I love to see this!!

Hey thanks for bringin' that up again. If I recall, nobody else knew anything about this either. There were so many weird things involved in the making of the music & cover of Sgt.P, that I find that pretty easy to believe. I wonder just how many of those mystery records are out there? It can't be very many.
