There seems to be lots of Bill Shepherd musicians.....
The William Shepherd whose name appears on songwriting credits for fiddle tunes such as "Miss Gordon of Park" is not the same William Shepherd who played trombone with Dizzy Gillespie, nor is it the Bill Shepherd who has recorded Appalachian fiddle music on several anthologies. ~ Eugene Chadbourne, All Music GuideInteresting...Brian Epstein had a direct link with one Dizzy Gillespie! From www.dmbeatles.com/history.php?year=1966Aug 29, Monday: Morning. Dizz Gillespie disappears with personal briefcases of Brian and Nat Weiss. Also: ...Friday night arrives without a suitcase...

I was thinkin' that was this ol'guy, but there's no mention of Dizzy in this guys bio so he's yet another Bill Shepherd! www.billshepherdmusic.com/about_bill.htmHoly Moly.... I'm gettin' "Dizzy" from all the musical Bill Shepherds.

I just noticed the date for Tuesday, September 27, 1966.
It reads: "Brian enters the Priory Hospital in Putney, for a complete rest and medical checks."
Putney is a section in London. But the real mystery here is what in Old Mother Hubbard's name happened to Brian that he had to go to the hospital? And for "complete rest and medical checks" no less?

Well, if all this is true that JPM was killed in Sept...the stress and strain on Brian, their manager, would have been to much for him to handle. After all, one of the biggest names in Pop music, in the biggest band dead, what to do next...would lead any manager to on the verge of a nervous breakdown...

I believe that Brian was killed shortly before Paul was, and THAT hospital stay was a cover-up for his replacement to have the surgery necessary for him to take over Brian's life.

All this has stirred up my curiousity about The Bee Gee's Bill Shepherd, so I think I'm gonna order the Bee Gee's Odessa cd & Bill Sheherd's record Aurora. Even if he isnt the Bill Shepherd we're interested in.
Odessa was the only Bee Gee's I bought way back when.. all I can remember is that it came in a deep red velvet-like fuzzy cover with the words Bee Gee's & Odessa in gold letters. Very nice jacket. The reviews I've read this morning compare it to The Beach Boys Pet Sounds.... so for ol'times sake, I'll get it. The only way I can get Aurora is on LP so I was wonderin'.... Jojo, aren't you set up to rip old records? If so, & if I could get ya to put it to cd & scan the jacket, then I could let ya keep the actual record.... just a thought.

"Billy" Gibb....?
Images of that SGT. Pepper Movie giving me haunted flashbacks.....Help me, George Burns trying to sing Fixing a Hole....I'm getting dizzy.....flashes of strange images pass before me....flying cows... men in a rowboat....Auntie Em rocking in her rocking chair knitting away.....A witch on a broom.....who is that witch......dare I say it....
Hey, that last image looks like it could be Charlie Brill...in the shadows.... Standing in the shadows.....Have you seen your "brother" baby, standing in the shadows?......
Maybe it's not Charlie Brill, but his brother Billy Brill....

It's Fill A(c)Krill and it's about a walrus, and a Brillo soap impression of his wife Mitzi witch he ate along with the krill and donated to the national rust.
