No, I don't think that it is. Ms. Springfield always had a nice head of hair and REALLY knew how to work a teasing comb.

Paul's eyes look lighter than I thought they were. However, it appears that might be caused by the lighting at the time. Also, Paul looks to be around the same height as Dusty. John is on the other side of her & looks noticeably taller !

And this was from October 4, 1963 !!! In a wig that early... wonder what that was about.

If Paul was wearing a hair piece, it was because he was balding early. Like I've stated elsewhere, the baldness gene is usually passed on the mother's side. However, Jim did bald early on.

It is likely that by 1966 genes and psychotronic harrassment combined for a rapidly receding hairline; but 1963, I don't know.
A 5'7 crewcut JPM could get around a lot more inconspicuously than 5'11 moptop BeatlePaul.

That's very true, T.I. However, I don't think that Paul wore a hairpiece to be inconspicuous without it. I'm sure that he found other ways to sneak around & try to have a life.

I don't think it's a wig. More like a really silly haircut.

Does anyone have a screen capture or a still of that shot in the videos of Paul's hairpiece flying up while he's singing?

I found it Just in case someone else wanted to grab it too ;D In the movie Help, the scene where Ringo and Paul are in the men's washroom and Ringo tries to dry his hands, I thought I saw more evidence of Paul's bald spot. Paul hangs onto the sink and water is spraying out of it. At the end of the scene, his hair is wet and you get a brief glance of his forehead... I'm not gifted enough with the computer to extract a picture of that, but I'm sure I saw the same forehead as in the image you posted.

Here his hair appears to be a wig, in the back down at his neck. Thanks, JPMtc, I will check that scene out.
