This example compares Paul's ear from the '60's to recent times. Hey matchbox, how about showing the rest of Faul's face compared to JP's in this picture? The ear can look the same but it has to be the same size.

You can also go to the bottom of this page. www.paulisnotdead.com/index-2.php?secct=pind&toppic=pind&subbt=earsI have drawn horozontal lines to help compare. *** Why are both his ears important? They are not the ust mirrors of each other. On his right ear, the ridge around the outer edge suddently stops and there is a distinct bump of flesh and a small crease as it turns into the lobe. His left ear is not like that. The ridge blends into the lobe.

Thanks kazu. Darkhorse wanted a scaled image of both pictures, I hope you don't mind if I post it here. Well done as usual.

The problem with ear identification is how contradictory it is. I think it's true that no ear is alike, and if the ear in question is drasticly diferent, it's not the same person. But, if you scroll down to page 9 or 10 of the link I posted, you see how an ear from the same person looks different in four different ways, just based on lighting conditions. www.it.lut.fi/kurssit/03-04/010970000/seminars/Lammi.pdf These two pics: Dont agree necessarily. The outer shape seems to, but the middle inner area seems to be showing some differences. Plus the top of the Anthology ear is obscured. (yeah I know the dilemma, it's hard to find what you need)

As I suspected, the heads are look a different size. Paul's head is bigger in the comparison imo. No, the angles are different. Yet the ears match up. Not good news for PIA.

As I suspected, the heads are look a different size. Paul's head is bigger in the comparison. You can't really use these two pics to compare the size of the head for a couple of reasons. 1. The angle as Flaming Pie pointed out. The old pic shows more of his face as his left cheek is more in view, indicating that his head is turned more toward the camera...but all other factors are still consistant. 2. The new pic is not all there. The back of his head is missing which lends to make you think his head is smaller and flatter...it's more of an illusion really. And now, if you'll all excuse me, I have a jingle that has come to mind that I just can't hold back.... [/size][/move] Sorry...it just came to me. ;D I have to say, though, that this is one of the better presentations I've seen from both sides of the debate. We can get all wrapped around the axle on so many things and miss some of the more subtle ones in the process.

I guess I will go get video of them rotating their heads. It might take a while.

If you DO find twisting head video, kazu, call a priest to bless it, first!
