I posted this many places, if Spanky minds I'll take it down.
Here is the story...
Just last week I checked out "A Single Step" by Heather Mills for the hell of it. To my surprise I found it engrossing. Then I got to the part where Heather was struck by a motorcycle and lost her leg.
Just the day before- when I checked out that book- Iwas walking to the library (I go there every day), with "The Beatles Anthology" under my arm.I got that partly because of the "Paul is Dead" story.I heard a motorcycle behind me and instinctively turned to the right. I am an exprienced bicycle rider, and other bikes pass me on the left. It turned to the right instead, and passed me within a foot. The driver was a woman. It wasn't going very fast and may have stopped in time, but if it hit me it would have been ugly. And I had this Beatles book in my hand-people would say "Jerri's not been into the Beatles for years. What's up with that?"
Something similar happened to Heather. She tried to get out of the way of a motorcycle and it turned the wrong way (right, like the lady.)
To cap things off, that night when I was thinking of all this, "Eleanor Rigby" came over the radio. I hadn't heard that song on that station in ages. I felt a chill when I heard, "Eleanor Rigby, died in a church and was buried along with her name....."
