Another Faul faux pas ( faux Paul ) ? Paul wore his watch on his right hand! Or is the left photo reversed? Can anyone confirm that the one on the left is the correct orientation?

Revolver this picture was from my first post at 60IF, not a bad one if I do say so. Then i tried my hand at fades.. uh oh. hehe [img src="http://galeon.hispavista.com/akostuff/img/Dunno2[1].gif"] Anyway, there was another pic that went with this, and you can see that either the above pic is mirrored, or the one where they get off the plane is. There was some debate over that, and honestly, there's no way to prove which one is the mirror. I would theorize that it's the one above, so the watch is on the correct arm. Interestingly, I just managed to get a copy of the concert in Tokyo from 1966, and Paul did that thing we all do when time is running short, he looked at his watch. His watch was on his right hand, like lefties are wont to do.. First pic, getting off the plane, look at the patterns on John's bag: Edit: to mention that the book says that the button John is wearing says: "exciting new offer". Next pic, as published in the book I scanned it from, "The Beatles Files", pics from the Daily Mirror in the UK. Btw, the pics are dated July 31, 1967 Notice that the pattern is reversed, at least proving that one of the pictures is mirror printed. Oh yeah, one more picture taken at the airport, only the year before, on aug 11, 1966. Just for the fun of it..

My guess is the 'Faul_Stairs.JPG' one is the correct one. The girl has a watch on her left hand, which the majority of people do. Too bad we can't read the writing on John's pin-on button. That would tell us for sure. So maybe Faul didn't slip up after all. Here's the mirror of the photo: Still you can't help but notice how unPaul-like Faul is looking in these photos. Today people are so familiar with Faul's appearance, they probably think the 1966 Paul is the imposter! BTW that's a nasty hole in Paul's jacket.

ok, just butting in here....I am left-handed, and for quite a few years wore my watch on my right wrist. The reasoning was to avoid wearing it on the 'dominant' side, to better prevent damage to the watch. But I am more comfortable wearing it on my left wrist....made the change after several years and have worn it on my left wrist ever since. "Paul" certainly could have changed which wrist he wore his watch on.....but I see two different men in those airport photos edited to add: great photo thread, Eyesbleed

Another confirmation that this photo is mirrored - John's shirt has the buttons on the left side. Men's shirts always have the buttons on the right.

Well, there are certain small indications. John Lennon's nose had a certain bend in it, it had a marked "beak" effect more so on his right side, if you are facing him. Also, Jane Asher is wearing her watch on what appears to be her left hand, coming off the plane behine John and Paul. Most righties would; I assume she was a rightie? So, is so, the deboarding of the plane picture is correct in orientatioin, but not the pic by the car.
Also, letters on the side of the plane: "AVOR" or "ROVA". Part of the plane company?

The one with them getting off the plane is the correct one, and the other is mirror-printed. I have a book with the same exact picture, and you can read John's button that says "Exciting New Offer" perfectly.

JPM ordered that particular Aston Martin in March of 1966. He barely got to drive it before being killed. One more thing that Bill got as his "door prize" and probably didn't take care of.

To be fair, i think that is one of the most objective pic's i've seen.
We all know PID so we can see the difference yet i reckon a nonPID person could adequately argue that they are the same guy.

Something I noticed on the mirror images. Either way, John looked like himself. But Bill looked strange in the reverse image. His face is not symmetrical.

I agree with Rita. Bill's face isn't symmetrical. In fact, with my comparison, their ears look totally different from each other's !

In fact, with my comparison, their ears look totally different from each other's ! Yes, completely obvious. Also, notice how much older Bill looks than JPM.

The top pic is Bill before final surgery producing the Faul we have become accustomed to. While the bottom pic must have been at that brief moment when Bill looked the most like JPM. I do say brief. I don't know if the face filler was rejected by his body and by the time of the Hey Jude video, he looked rather odd. Either that or this is another Faux Paul. Or "Composite Man" strikes again!
