Paul McCartney may be planning spring release for new album Paul McCartney is currently working on two new projects, including a new rock album that could be released as early as May. London's Sunday Express reported that a source close to McCartney's company MPL Communications said that, "The album is scheduled for seven or eight weeks time, it's imminent. It's a rock album. But he knows that just because he might win a (divorce) court case, it doesn't necessarily mean fans will buy his album... It's almost like starting out again for him. He lost touch with his core fans when he married Heather and he wants to reconnect." Another Macca aide went on record as saying that the rock project is one of two albums that McCartney has been readying for release: "We've been told to stand by for an album. He has been working on it for some time and it will be the first of two projects, the second being a guitar concerto." The aide went on to say that Macca may also be planning a series of impromptu club dates, which he has been known to do periodically since Wings' 1972 debut tour. The source added that during divorce proceedings from his estranged wife Heather Mills, McCartney has been leaning on his daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney, for guidance: "She's his main ally and of all his children, the one most like him. She took the marriage personally, she hated it from day one, everyone who was at the wedding will tell you that, she wasn't smiling. Stella's a good girl, she has the same honesty and work ethics as her father. She understands the responsibility of being a McCartney." www.therockradio.com/2007/03/paul-mccartney-may-be-planning-spring.html

Makes sense, as he has been making noise about going out on tour, and he usually doesn't do that without an album to promote.

Stella's a good girl, she has the same honesty and work ethics as her father. She understands the responsibility of being a McCartney. Ooh.... Same honesty as Faul, then how honest is she? Joking aside though, the "responsibilty of being a McCartney." That almost seems as if perhaps, it is something that has been bestowed on the family.......

LINKHmm, I bet his memory IS almost full.. Paul McCartney Memory Almost Full
by Paul Cashmere - April 10 2007
Paul McCartney has christened his upcoming studio album 'Memory Almost Full'.
The album, his first since 'Chaos and Creation In The Backyard' was produced by David Kahne (The Strokes).
McCartney is investigating new business models to promote the album. For starters, it will be initially released through Starbucks in the US and generally through Concord Music and distributed through Universal.
The album is said to reflect his Beatles and Wings period and will include a 15 minute suite, similar in style to side 2 of 'Abbey Road'.
'Memory Almost Full' will be released on June 5th.

w/ only 2 wks to spare "when he's 64" he releases his first non-EMI album as mind-controlled patsies camp outside his property and occasionally try to assassinate him.... could be an interesting record...

LINK New Paul McCartney album tracklisting leaked
What appears to be the tracklisting to Paul McCartney's new album, Memory Almost Full, has appeared on the website starbucksgossip.typepad.com. The unconfirmed information features the titles to the album's 12 tracks and a thumbnail description of the songs. The album is McCartney's first for the Starbucks/Concord Music Group's offshoot label Hear Music.
Interestingly, both McCartney's late wife Linda McCartney and Beatles bandmate John Lennon feature in the song titles. The reported opening track, titled "To Be Said," is from a 2001 poem McCartney published about Linda in his poetry book Blackbird Singing. "Pizza And Fairy Tales" was what Lennon accused McCartney of being during a mid-'70s phone argument. According to McCartney, Lennon once spat out at him that, "You're only pizza and fairytales." Since Lennon's death, McCartney has gone on record numerous times saying that it would make a great album title.
The Starbucks Gossip post reads in part:
"To Be Said" - Based on the poem. A short string quartet piece. Delicate.
"Bring The Dawn" - Huge production number, mellotrons to brass, booming drums.
"Memory Almost Full" - Nice pop song (see "Driving Rain"), likely (the)first single. Some electronica.
"Love Hear My Thunder" - (Rolling) Stones-like rocker. (Sounds like) peak Wings.
"Robber Of Soul" - Funky jazz/brass number, unlike anything in (McCartney's) catalog so far.
"Cracks In The Earth" - Electric piano ballad, sounds like a Chaos And Creation In The Backyard track.
"Buy The Farm" - Solid rocker, Steve Miller-ish.
"It Happens Every Time" - Tight rocker, best song here.
"Silent Water" - Piano/organ/electronica song -- nice lyrics.
"God Damn Rock 'n Roll" - Sounds like a Back To The Egg outtake- almost punk.
"Pizza And Fairytales" - Most Beatle-esque. Reminds (me) of (McCartney's unreleased 1987 song) "Return To Pepperland."
"Pictures In Song Suite" - Almost 15 minutes. A true song suite, divided into four movements. Most people won't get how good this is.
The McCartney fansite macca-central.com reported that the domain memoryalmostfull.com was purchased by Concord Music Group on March 13th, and it's a safe bet that that will be the home page for the upcoming album. McCartney's Memory Almost Full will be released on June 5th.

Very pumped for this. A 15-minute suite? I can't wait to hear it. I just hope this maintains the quality of Chaos and Creation instead of being one of those Sir Paul albums which feel phoned on (which, admittingly, have become fewer and fewer since the Anthology).

"Memory almost full" does sometimes mean "not enough ram", I think it's sorta an antiquated computer error message. Maybe he's saying it's getting difficult to remember all he's supposed to remember..

I google searched for Memory Almost Full in quotations, and found this russian site which tells a different story. www.beatles.ru/news/news.asp?news_id=3214Reported that the first wedding album with Paul McCartney "Almost Memory Full" will be the song "Dancing Tonight." This song withdrawn video with the "double" Paul. Postanovschikom made Gondri Michel, the music involved Mackenzie Crook (star of the series "The Office"), Natalie Portman ( "Leon", "Star Wars" and others), as well as McCartney simulator Neil Tudor.
McCartney Story "Mull of Kintyre" has been sold in the United Kingdom distributed more than 2 million copies, but a video to the song special attention not. It is heartening to learn that Paul has much more to the visual accompaniment of his new album, entitled "Memory Almost Full" and expected in the early summer (drive will be on June 4 in Europe, and on June 5 in the USA).
McCartney has always been a great fan of Natalie, but only recently became acquainted with it through his daughter Stellou (it is a "mellow" shoes, which Portman prefers to be), and invited to participate in the circle. The combination of Natalie and McKenzie is quite strange, but the outcome would be just neveroaten and includes Paul meeting with different омерзительными(!)
EMI/Capitol.Meanwhile, a new record label Paul McCartney Hear Music is a more zeal advertising new album, the EMI / Capitol. The "failure" plates registered domain http://www.memoryalmostfull.comhttp://www.memoryalmostfull.com ..
Hype before it begins "Almost Memory Full" (as they say musicians with years-old digital synthesatorah and sekwensorah napsi this meant that "it all стирать") подогревает ся and publications on the Web. What is the current Faul's real age? It was established here and the other forums that "Bill" Faul is older than the real JPM. Also, wasn't the old "Bill/Phil Ackrill" Faul 2.0 replaced with a different, rounder-headed Faul 3.0 last year? That hasn't yet been adequately explored or discussed at NIR.

Who says he's going to die soon? He's 64 years. I'm sure he's just getting rather introspective as he ages. Precisely I think that the music, the lyrics, the structures, the phrases, etc, are only going to get deeper and deeper and more specific, more filled with thought provoking interest as time goes on. I think he's diong the right thing. I hope he never stops. When he's 94 even if he only has one octave range left (he'll have more) and prefers ballades I hope he continues onward. There is still plenty of fiery rock and roll left i the old boy. Yes, I used the word "old" but I also used the word "boy", because he has managed to carry a lot more of his youth into 64 (ostensibly) than most of us have at ........50.........did I mention that I turn 50 in two weeks? Shhh--don't tell a soul. Anyway, I am most excited about this upcoming release, the titles and descriptions have me on edge to audit the work. And do you all know that "Ecce Cor Meum" has been nominated for a Brit version of a classical Grammy? Well, I voted on line for it to win. You can too. I will have to find the webopage and post it for us. omg I am a mess tonight but I have had three vodkas and a Bailey's. Don't judge me, I am a wild man as I approach my birthday. Can you say, mid-life birthday crises? But I'm okay really..... ARRRGHHHHRGHHH!!!!!! I turn 50, Elton just turned 60 and he looks better than I do at 50. Damn it. Living right and having the right lover, eating good and settling down. He probably does not consume as much Bailey's as I do. Oh yeah--he's on the wagon. Well, it wouldn't hurt me but am I ready? Rhetorical question..... His 60th birthday concert was wonderful, we taped it to keep. Lovely, lovely. Last thought: I hope Ecce Cor Meum wins the music award.........
