Well, I still am not really sure about anything, to this day. Apollo said something to the effect that it was more important "who he was not" than who he was. For me, comments like this were what made me rather fond of him, but.. Not so much for others, oh well.
My one time way out theory I had (and kept to myself, but whatever) was that John was very much alive and leaving cryptic clues out on a small corner of the internet. Why? I didn't think that far ahead, lol.

I thought that the Apollo C Vermouth who posted here was Neil Aspinal. Apollos' posts ended around the time of Neils passing. Of cource some people also thought that Neil was actually the Real Paul and Faul was being Played by the Original Neil. Confusing isn't it? Oh, what tangled webs.........

It is interesting that our Apollo C Vermouth contributed alot to that thread. I have seen that album cover many times over the years(the one with the bright yellow sun) but I never knew the story behind it or heard the songs before. The songs definately have pepperesque sound to them and Maybe some input from the Beatles but the singers are not John and Paul. It does sound as if the singers are emulating John and Paul. One thing that people tend to forget is the fact that it was George Martin who came up with and penned the Orchestra parts and arrangements. John and Paul may heve said something along the lines of "It would be nice if we could have an Oboe do something here or the sound of a Marching band or even a traveling minstrel." whatever it was, George would make it happen. So the SOUND of the Beatles is really the SOUND of George Martin. At least for things like Strawberry Fields and Eleanor Rigby.

Yeah, I discovered his blog last week and then stumbled upon the Klaatu thread like a day later (synchronicity). Apollo's comments seem to reflect pretty much the same train of thought of the blog. I believe the first Klaatu album to be the most Beatlesque, I was listening to the follow up a couple of days ago, the one entitled HOPE, and it's more like PINK FLOYD/YES territory.

Believe it or not, I actually contacted someone from Klaatu through email not too long after I discovered the whole "Paul is Dead" theory (2007-2008 around)
Can't recall exactly what I had written nor do I still use that email account, but they had responded and told me they were not with the Beatles in any form nor had they written songs for them
back then I think they had their own official website and I do believe that it was actually one of the members I had received an email from because it wasn't written as a 3rd person

Now imagine, if you will, that scenario in context to this "mystery." Only in this case, the original Darrin came back to the show, after his fancy of leaving proved to be not quite in his best interest. By then, the show was on the "outs", and the cast grew tired of each other, thus putting an end to the show. Now, each blamed the other for the demise, for whatever reason they could muster, and went their separate ways. It's kinda like that. Only different.
Exactly. lol
