Notice though that the ram has a cloud between it and the sun...I wonder what that represents. I actually like that the best. I also like the first very macabre one with the red tree. intriguing!
Faullible that last one definitely refers to 3 beatles. Hmmmm

I have changed my opinion about the drawing below. I think that Paul above the cloud is modeled after his appearance in the bathing suit picture (shown below the drawing). My interpretation of the picture, therefore, is that Paul is "above the clouds" (either dead or spaced out), and Bill, the unkempt one in front, is sensing his spirit. This fits in with the idea of "Mr. Bellamy" not coming down; having his head in the clouds. That is: Paul being a mental patient. The crossed eyes representing "he's crazy". Faul then, is sensing Paul, much as Paul is shown sensing Faul in the Rotten Apple 30, and what he's sensing is nutty. And as faullible said, the picture below "might hold a clue". Yes, it's Paul and 3 Beetles. But Paul is drawn like a balloon (an airhead?) and is not on stage with the others.

Yes but that could just be an ego thing. I.e that he was the most important beatle and all the rest are inonsequential to him. Who knows.

Do you mean the fellow in front being Ringo, faullible? That's a thought. Ringo being as crazy as Paul. (Not Faul here.)

Opps, I was referring to the bass drum, which I thought was a body. I got to tell you though, your analysis of these drawings have been really great.

Care to take a stab @ this one, B? It was drawn about the time peppers came out for the monterey peace festival. I wish the quality was better also.

It's on page 254 of the Anthology book for anyone who has it and wants to examine a higher quality version.
An interesting point is that up the left hand side there is writing that says;
"congratulations elvis. say hello to uncle stan. how are you bob."
What does that mean?

Baird Jones
Gossip reporter, celebrity art collector and club promoter extraordinaire Baird Jones died in his Greenwich Village apartment Thursday night.
He was 53.
The cause of death was not immediately known, but police said there were no signs of foul play and no drugs in the apartment.
A friend of his told the Daily News that Jones, the son of People magazine co-founder Cranston Jones, recently complained about being "sick as a dog."
In 1995, while covering Arthur Miller's 80th birthday for The News, Baird Jones asked the playwright about the most intimate details of his relationship with Marilyn Monroe. Miller, fists clenched, chased him out of the party.
After graduating from the Buckley School and Columbia University and earning several advanced degrees, Jones became one of the city's first club promoters, working the door at Studio 54 in its prime. Most recently, he was a curator at Webster Hall.
