Okay your the PID God and what you think goes? ;D
To the contrary, if it is not unique it would seem more plausible.
Otherwise we put Paul McCartney himself onto a mythical highchair for needing such a big scandel to cover up his death. But say a Hollywood machine factory that can replace you with a look a like if you cause trouble... seems more plausible to me, because I don't think there is anything that special about the REAl JPM as compared to others like Buddy Holly that died b4 him.
Maybe the only thing special about JPM's case is that his death and replacement may not have been planned at all but they had to do it to follow through with thier plans to use the Beatles as John stated in his Playboy interview but definately not to prevent girls from commiting suicide there is no money in such a humanitarian effort. So they had to have another motive to keep up such a costly ellaborate scam. I don't buy the notion that the Beatles where so popular they caused mental orgasims I tend to believe they were a creation of the machine from the day they were signed and all the hype is part of the marketing.

maybe we are?
Who's to say that PIA's don't photoshop?
It's that celebrity doubles thing -- that subsection of this board which suggests that other celebrities have been replaced with doubles -- which looks especially crazy.
I'm willing to allow that the Beatles in general and Paul McCartney in particular were so unique and were perceived as such a valuable asset to a number of people that the idea of replacing a dead Paul with a talented double is plausible -- especially given the overall weirdness that was going on in Beatles world during the 1966-69 time frame. Those Mal Evans photos of "Paul" in Kenya are mind-boggling.
But the idea that this is a regular occurrence and that NUMEROUS celebrities, including Frank Sinatra and Doris Day, have been replaced -- without discovery -- by doubles over the years strikes me as just plain weird.
And I won't even get into what I think of all that Don Knotts/Brian Epstein/Neil Aspinall/Vivian Stanshall talk.

haha this is a very bad photoshop job. the thing that sucks the most is that this is the kinda stuff people will hear about and it will be a good reason to think were all crazy. hehmaybe we are?
