In the FAAB video, when they are showing the scene of the wrecked car and the crowd gathered round it, there is a girl sitting in the front seat of a van with the door open and she is holding her head and there are two doctors there looking at her. What could be the meaning in this?

The only thing I can think of is that if it is indeed portraying Tara Browne's car crash (as the official explanation seems to be), then she could be Suki Poitier, but thats far too convenient for my liking!

Maybe it's related to Paul somehow? It seems to make more sense than them portraying Tara Browne, who wasn't that important to the Beatles. JoJo, can you capture that scene?

it could stil be important if Tara Browne was the first person murdered in the cover-up. How do we know this Suki Portier wasn't an assassin?

Tara was Paul's brother Michael's friend. I heard that Paul was with Tara when he got into one of his moped accidents. I'm not sure if it was the same one in which he chipped his tooth. Tara was a family friend. I've also heard that Tara was known for having a big mouth. You pick up alot of things when you've been involved in something like this for as long as I have. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Suki was involved in Tara's "accident". After all, she emerged unscathed.

I think this is a pic of Paul with Tara:

Lenmac, where did you find the photo? If it is indeed Tara, then it may throw a bit of a monkey wrench into things. At issue is Tara's size compared to Paul.
The perspective in the picture is enough drive anybody bananas. The street is going downhill (to the south, left to right). Paul appears higher, yet we cannot see if he is standing on a step while the young man is on the street. Paul's knee is above the young man's knee. If their true height to one another is represented, then it'd mean Tara and his brother Garech were approximately the same size, because Garech is a short man (about 5-7 or 5-8, I'd say).
Head size is another issue. the young man's has a taller forehead and a jaw which softly angles straight to the chin (these attributes would be consistent with Tara Browne). Paul has a shorter, more rounded forehead and his jaw southward from the ear and curves to the chin.
I'd say the the young man's profile is fairly consistent from Sir Faul. However, when comparing photos of the two, I do see enough there it'd cause some to be skeptical.

It came from a mailing list, they said it was Paul with Tara. I was hoping someone here could confirm that.

These moped "accidents", were they accidents, or attempts on JPM's life that was bungled?

It's very close. There seem to be minor differences with the chin and the young man appears to have more of a frankenstein forehead. If it's the same person, then the explaination could be when he smiling, his bottom lip pulls over his teeth making his chin appear bigger. Either that, or Tara got plastic surgery done on his chin.

Hmmmm ... Suki Poitier is quite the femme fatale:
July 4, 1968: Brian Jones and Suki Poitier arrive in Tangier, Morocco.
July 6, 1968: Mick Jagger, Marianne Faithfull and Jimmy Miller arrive at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles, California, for the overdubbing and mixing sessions for Beggars Banquet album.
July 7, 1968: The Byrds, with Gram Parsons, perform a charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Keith meets Parsons again, who quits the Byrds and starts hanging with Keith.
July 23-24, 1968: Brian Jones records the Master Musicians of Joujouka in Marrakesh, Morocco. Late December 1968: Brian Jones and Suki Poitier start a prolonged stay in Sri Lanka.

There's some questions into the death of Gram Parsons ebni.com/byrds/memgrp6.htmlBrian Jones was untimely death and Marianne Faithful was supposedly replaced. You can refer to the other forums to see facial comparisons. There's a mysterious link to many of these musicians and singers. Who's Suki Portier? That's a new one to me...

And how do we know that she was? Why must everyone be an assassin, spy, or sinister underground agent? When did the late '60s music scene turn into an episode of Get Smart?

And how do we know that she was? Why must everyone be an assassin, spy, or sinister underground agent? When did the late '60s music scene turn into an episode of Get Smart? ... or, when did Get Smart turn out an episode on the late '60s music scene? Answer here, man: The Groovy Guru Airdate: Saturday, January 13, 1968, 8:30 PM Writers: Norman Paul and Burt Nodella Director: James Komack Carl's Rating: *** Many of the country's teenagers are dancing constantly, under the spell of the Groovy Guru, and CONTROL must put a stop to it. The CONTROL agents who are sent after him all end up dancing under his spell also. Max and 99 head into the Guru's meditation palace to stop the Guru. They're armed with a lie pill in case of capture, which leads to some hysterical scenes with Max under its influence. The discover that the Guru plans to incite the nation's youth to riot. He'll do this by broadcasting a special song (sung by the Sacred Cows) during his live broadcast, unless CONTROL can stop him. Due to the many requests I get, here is the song sung by The Sacred Cows. The Sacred Cows Kill, kill, kill Thrill, thrill, thrill Make a scene, Bump off the Dean. Yeah, yeah, yeah Knock off the squares. Take to the streets Kill everyone you meet Just kill, kill, kill
Hey, hey, hey Dig what I say, Get a gun And kill your mum Woh, woh, woh Don't you know Love is out Hate's what it's about Just kill, kill, kill Don't just stand there being placid Get into some psychopathic acid I'll take you to a place that's purple and paisley There's no problem everybody is crazy Come on get rid of your frustration Get into our hate generation If you are ready......
Kill, kill, kill Thrill. Thrill, thrill Make a scene Bump off the Dean Woh, woh, woh Don't you know Love is out Hate's what it's aboutI also want to note that The Sacred Cows are not a real group, they were just a creation of the writers for this episode. It was also not a song from an album, it was written just for this episode. For more information about the song (and details on the session musicians) and lots of great pictures, check out Pete's site. Larry Storch appears as The Groovy Guru. Storch modeled the voice of the Guru after a famous French actor, whose name completely escapes me. TV Guide voted this episode one of the 100 best TV episodes of all time. I consider this Get Smart's most over-rated episode. The novelty of the Sacred Cows seems to stick in everybody's minds to give this a great rating, but there are numerous episodes much funnier. ------------------ This Get Smart episode eerily suggests the forthcoming Charles Manson/Beatles slaughters in 1969.

Thanks for posting this JoJo.
The guys in overalls...well one of them is wearing a hat, it looks like a french hat possibly. Or did they wear that kind of hat in England in the 60's?
And those helmets the cops were wearing, were they English standard or French for the day?
Maybe we should research this? We could cetainly find out if the accident took place in England or France...

It would make for interesting folklore if it were in France...wasn't that supposed to be where they found Paul's body?
Possible scenario: accident happens in France and when someone who was part of the plot removed the body and disposed of it near a beach off a cliff? That is where it was supposed to have been found...if memory serves me right....

By far my fave episode of Get Smart! And that song is absolutely hilarious! 5 STARS on the silly music meter~! So why ruin it by readin' all this stuff into it? I've seen this episode a dozen times & I'm always too busy laughin' to ever think about Manson or real-world gov't problems. I prefer to just enjoy the silliness..... and it doesn't get much sillier than this particular episode of Get Smart. And how do we know that she was? TV Guide's Favorite Episode is in seventh place [of Get Smart fans' favorite episodes]: The Groovy Guru Ranked one of the 100 best TV episodes ever by TV Guide, this episode features Larry Storch as a crazy DJ. The highlight of this one is definitely The Sacred Cows performance of "Kill, Kill, Kill." "Kiss Kiss Kiss" ---Yoko Ono on the Double Fantasy album of 1980 has lyrics about killing and a backwards message: Yoko whispering "I shot John Lennon."
