I had started a thread about Faul's songs at TKIN just before I quit there. Many of them contain clues about Paul's disappearence, and the greater mysteries associated with it, imo. The purpose of this thread will be to look at Faul lyrics, and determine what they may be revealing. Please join in! Shall we get started? ;D SIMPLE AS THAT "Paul McCartney" I know it isnt easy to refuse; A lot of thoughts are flying thru your head. Tell me this, before you have to choose, Would you rather be alive or dead? It's as simple as that - Would you rather be alive or dead? Its as simple as that; Its so simple it makes you wanna cry. They ask you if you wanna join in. You linger for a minute, or so. Well now's a perfect time to begin. Are you gonna say 'yes' or 'no'? Its as simple as that Are you gonna say yes or no? If s as simple as that, its so simple It makes you wanna cry And if you love your life, Everybody will love you too. Yes if you love your life, Everybody will love you too. It's harder when you start to get round. I want you to remember what I said. I know you never like to let them down, But would you rather be alive or dead? Its as simple as that Would you rather be alive or dead? Its as simple as that, if s so simple It makes me wanna cry Yes if you love your life Everybody will love you too And if you love your life Everybody will love you too Would you rather be alive or dead? Would you rather be alive or dead? Would you? Its as simple as that Its as simple as that Its as simple as that Yes if you love your life Everybody will love you too And if you love your life Everybody will love you too en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipes_of_PeaceIn 1993, Pipes of Peace was remastered and reissued on CD as part of "The Paul McCartney Collection" series, with the previously unreleased "Twice in a Lifetime" (the title song for a 1985 film), his 1984 hit from the Rupert Bear project, "We All Stand Together", and "Simple as That", released in 1986 on an anti-heroin charity album - all as bonus tracks.
Sounds to me like an invitation for JPM to join Faul in composing or performing songs. So, presumably he'd have to be alive, unless Faul is issuing the invitation to "the spirit of Paul", which he may well be.

"Twice in a Lifetime" McCartney (McCartney Unreleased/Alternate) uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zka1PMcj1xYNow I know that it can easily happen To someone like me; I don't want to step on anybody's toes (ahem)Who knows how to find love? Think before you give your answer. Who knows what a mystery may bring? Once in a life I'm a lucky man If I can find the kind of love That's gonna last for me Twice in a lifetime Is one of those unspoken dreams We usually reserve for fantasy Who knows how we find love Stop before you give your answer: Who knows when a mystery begins?I know, I know I know because it's happening to me I know, I know Twice in a lifetime Is one of those unspoken dreams We usually reserve for fantasy Who knows how we find love Stop before you give your answer Who knows when a mystery begins I know, I know I know because it's happening to me

I'd never even heard of this until tonight. Unreleased 'McCartney' song. There have to be significant clues in this one! (I'm pondering how it fits in. Feel free to join in the surmising! ;D) Cage ('Paul McCartney') hear it:www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTuNECu1EK4&NR=1Ow Aaah, aaah Ah ah Emotional moments, you left in a rage But if you could love me now, I wouldn't be in a cage Provisional license, I'm under arrest But if you could get me out, I'd like to take another test Aah I've been said to tell you That the man you were with last night Is feeling sorry, sorry 'Cause he told me to tell you That he hardly ever lies But he lied to you last night He didn't mean it, no Said he didn't mean it, no He didn't mean it, no Said he didn't mean it, no I've been said to tell you That the man you were with last night Is feeling lonely only for you He told me to tell you That he hardly ever cries But he cried for you last night, ooh He didn't mean it, no Said he didn't mean it, no He didn't mean it, no Said he didn't mean it, no Emotional moment, you left in a rage! But if you could love me now, I wouldn't be in a cage. Dramatic performance, direct from the stage But if you could get me out, I won't be in a cage An obvious jail reference.

Once Upon A Long Ago 'McCartney' www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCxTL_XpNzIPicking up scales and broken chords Puppy dog tails in the House of Lords Tell me darling What can it mean? Making up moons in a minor key What have those tunes got to do with me? Tell me darling Where have you been? Once upon a long ago Children searched for treasure Nature's plan went hand in hand With pleasure Such pleasure. Blowing balloons on a windy day Desolate dunes with a lot to say Tell me darling What have you seen? Once upon a long ago Children searched for treasure Nature's plan went hand in hand With pleasure My pleasure. Playing guitars on an empty stage Counting the bars of an iron cage Tell me darling What can it mean? Picking up scales and broken chords Puppy dog tails in the House of Lords Help me darling What does it mean? Once upon a long ago....

This one is a bit unusual in that it was a hit for the Everly Brothers, and not done by anyone else, that I know of. (The guy in the red shirt looks like Doc! ;D) ON THE WINGS OF A NIGHTINGALE (Paul McCartney) The Everly Brothers - 1984 hear it/see it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlQjYDvHGxMWhen I love, I get a feeling Like I'm traveling through the sky On the wings of a nightingale As I ride, my head is reeling And I don't even wonder why On the wings of a nightingale I'll fly I'll go land and sea, I'll be thinking of you and me Couldn't ask for a better place to be Oh, I can feel something happening Oh, I can feel something happening Oh, I can feel something happening to me So hold my hand, I got a feeling That the journey has just begun On the wings of a nightingale And if you like we'll fly together To the land of eternal sun On the wings of a nightingale of love I'll go land and sea, I'll be thinking of you and me Couldn't ask for a better place to be Oh, I can feel something happening Oh, I can feel something happening Oh, I can feel something happening to me When I love, I get a feeling Like I'm traveling through the sky On the wings of a nightingale On the wings of a nightingale Oooh oooh oooh On the wings of a nightingale

In the video. It's reinCARnated. At a "Flying A" service station. (01:28). And I'm trying to get the connection of "Nightingale" as in Florence, as in "the lady of the lamp", because she (Florence Nightingale), tended to the wounded at night, - with Aurora, which almost, but doesn't quite, work because: What does the nurse have to do with the Northern lights? Unless it's the JET! The stealthy aircraft Aurora. Which...replaces the SR-71 Blackbird just like Faul replaces Paul! And a nightingale is a bird you don't see when it's singing at night! And Florence Nightingale was one of the first recording artists! (Go to the "A rare 1890 recording of Nightingale's voice" at the bottom of the wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florence_Nightingale ) The lady of the lamp www.todayinsci.com/stories2/story020.htmSurely that must be it!

Or did James Paul write it? It seems like the country/folk tradition that maybe "I've Just Seen a Face", "I'll Follow the Sun" etc., genuinely appalachian. Very nice. Second, them boys can sing! They seem to be the precursor in a away to the Beatles. One facet of the Beatles. (They had so many....) I like their stuff. I never investigated it before but this has drawn me all over youtube listening to their tunes. Third, looks like who? I am flattered, but I wish! He's waaayyyyy handsomer than I could hope to have been but I will say that maybe in common we share a certain quality that I think of as "Southern Face" more so when my weight is under control, also my hair falls the same way though mine has lost the thickness and luster of former years. Those guys were in their mid forties in that video, so, yea, certain things yea so thanks. I don't allow photographs anymore whenever I appear in public and am currently studying the art of make-up and the application of wig pieces and latex appliances. I turn 51484339 in two weeks and each year brings more cosmetic panic. Call it vanity, call it neuroses, or just call it living in a dream world. I once dreamed of being a child star; I wanted to star in the planned sequel to Mary Poppins, or "Once, Twice, Three Times a Nanny." I wanted to play the Banks children's nasty cousin Tommy. But alas Disney dropped the project and I've nursed a secret hope, all these years, that if I could just hold it together, I wouldn't get too old looking to still play the part of the 11 year old monster when they finally decide to go into production. I see now my plans are hopeless, my dreams dashed to pieces. If I was to play it now, they would have to shoot me through a pillow-top mattress and a jar of Vaseline. My voice would have to be overdubbed by a (*sob*) younger actor. H*ll, the only way is if they made my part along the lines of "Baby jane." I could sing "I've Written a Letter to Nanny" in clown white and drag to a very mature Julie Andrews. Grotesque, admittedly, but I think it's freakish enough to garner an audience. A very sick, campy audience. But maybe that's JUST the audience for me............

Just to prove that I'm a real sport in all this, and would NEVER ask anyone to out themselves in a big way unless I, too, was willing to share in the utter humiliation, here is my personal tribute to Bette Davis. At an impromptu recording session at a friend's house one night (it was 3 A.M. and we were toasted to the tits) THIS remarkable piece of audio, er, emerged. make of it what you will-----I wrestled with "putting this out there", but at my point in life vanity is futile, so here it is, all hanging out. Enjoy. Click the selection "Letter to Daddy." It helps if you are having a drink or two. Maybe two. Click at your own risk. www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=4407&alid=1568The one marked "horror" is a silly medley I did for a show. But it in no way hits the zenith of horror like the other one. Oh, ho ho no. No way. Eeeee---yes. Why am I doing this? *Sigh* Regret will come in the morning........

Now, having already thoroughly derailed this very fine thread, I feel that, besides apologizing, the only other thing I can truly do to redeem myself is provide this golden image of Davis, which must be studied for other, smaller, hidden images, just like the White Album poster or maybe the back of the Sgt. Pepper CD. The only clue I will give is that if the photo were mirror-printed, it would look just as bad. Now, I leave this thread, entrust it back into the hands of Letter B and his very keen observations about Paul's lyrics.

The aurorae typically occur in the Ionosphere. Some scientists call them "polar auroras" (or "aurorae polares"). In northern latitudes, it is known as the aurora borealis (or the northern lights), named after the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora, and the Greek name for north wind, Boreas. It often appears as a greenish glow or sometimes a faint red, as if the sun was rising from an unusual direction. The aurora borealis is also called the northern polar lights, as it is only visible in the North sky from the Northern Hemisphere. The aurora borealis most often occurs from September to October and from March to April. The Cree call this phenomenon the Dance of the Spirits. Its southern counterpart, the aurora australis/southern polar lights, has similar properties. Australis is the Latin word for "of the South".but the interesting connection is all three: mythology, astronomy and the golden dawn red and yellow, crimson and gold lady of the lamp Florence da vinci .............. of the south, Susana. remember the Susanna post? that you hated? well, it works in here w/ aurora also...and don't forget susana's pass out there in Callifornia.... it's late, though later on this

Well I see Phil Everly Brother in the upper left hand corner..... all i need to do is lose 35 pounds, let my hair grow out, darken it a little, rinse the gold-red out of it, lay in the tanning booth a while, do some facial exercises/grimaces, get a lipo-neck tightening, and practice relaxing my always too tight mouth, and voila. Maybe some latex in certain corners. And cotton behind the upper molars. He's taller. I'll need lifts. And, oh yea, the wig has to go...
