NO. that's never been clear at all. What has been clear is that there are a lot of 'anything a photographer hands them' in Beatle photographs (since they themselves have arrived a couple of minutes ago in the photographer's studio and will be departing in a couple of minutes). As for symbolism, that goes on mainly in the viewer. And that fact came to irritate them (John in particular) to the point where their only use of symbolism was essentially to thwart what others were projecting onto them, a venture that remains worthwhile. Stuff that people may call "symbolism" in Beatles movies was NOT symbolic in my opinion. In the movie "Help" Ringo was going to be sacrificed to the Hindo Godess of death "Kali" unless he had the ring removed. This is NOT symbolic! ALL men can be destroyed by "Kali", "Isis" or "Durga" at ANY time! God (a woman) creates us and she can destroy us. God created the Devil and she can destroy him but then what would she do? "God created the Devil and she can destroy him but then what would she do?"
Open to a wide variety of interpretations, but here's something that comes to mind, as far as how you're approaching this topic: "Mirror, mirror on the wall..."
That is basically your projection of "God", to me, and all its associations.
What would God do without the Devil? Following your train of thought, perhaps Try to give a poison apple to someone who is threatening her vanity? The fairest of the all?
Or you know, there are plenty of women out there to bicker with, as these women demonstrate:
Or maybe like those two 12 year olds in Wisconsin, there is another 12 year old girl to stab. Girls involved in stabbing of peer.
Personally, I think you're off base with your narrowly simplistic definition or associations of the nature of "God" to a vain, vindictive personality, but I understand where it is coming from, so there is that.

All your points seem to boil down to woman are irrational so they could not be God . MY point is that God HAS to use emotion (emotion is far simpler than logic and children don't understand logic ) so she HAS to be a woman because woman are more emotional and understand it so much better. "Vanity thy name is woman" and "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".

I think it is far too simple to categorize in the manner in which you have been doing. You seem to be implying that "anything goes or anything is OK" as long as "God is a woman and not a man". Or that a woman can't act or be a "Devil" because only a man can fit that role. I think its far to narrow to hold that point of view. In your Room In your "room" Where time stands still Or moves at your will Will you let the morning come soon Or will you leave me lying here In your favorite darkness Your favorite half-light Your favorite consciousness Your favorite slave In your "room" Where souls disappear Only you exist here Will you lead me to your armchair Or leave me lying here Your favorite innocence Your favorite prize Your favorite smile Your favorite slave I’m hanging on your words living on your breath feeling with your skin Will I always be here In your "room" Your burning eyes Cause flames to arise Will you let the fire die down soon Or will I always be here Your favorite passion Your favorite game Your favorite mirror Your favorite slave I’m hanging on your words living on your breath feeling with your skin Will I always be here

First treat woman like a God. In other words worship her and praise her and love her and do what she says. See what happens. Then treat woman like the Devil. In other words treat her like trash, ignore her and boss her around. See what happens. I can tell you that this experment has been tried before and this is what happens (and continues to happen). In countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan etc. woman are "demonized" (and men are "God").Woman are raped, tortured, "honour killings", divorced for no reason and have no rights, etc. Men have ABSOLUTE POWER. What happens? DEATH, DESTRUCTION, POVERTY, Stupidity, etc. That is because men are DEVILS that can't do anything without woman's divine advice! Where woman are treated like a GODDESS (relatively speaking)in North America, Western Europe, etc., what happens? Prosperity, freedom, success, technological advancement etc. Try it!

At noon today, Mr. Ringo Starr (MBE) would like you to stop whatever you're doing and simply say
"Peace and love"
in honor of his 74th birthday.

So basically Ringo was the one with the fake mustache on Sgt. Pepper then?
Let's be honest. His beard certainly looked more Sgt. Pepperish than Paul's little struggle 'stache.

What's up with Ringo? The Beatles live in obscurity and then Ringo joins and POOF!!! World famous. The guy's stage name literally means pentacle, (a star inside of a circle). His birth name, Starkey, break into star key. The key to stardom? Ringo is the one with the sergeant stripes on Pepper. Ringo is the only one wearing a flat-topped hat on Pepper. He is the oldest Beatle. "Here come old flat top?" On Sgt Pepper, the color of every Beatle's suit except Ringo's is matched by something else in the picture. John and Paul are both matched in color by Dietrich. George's orange is matched by the stripes on the hat of the wax hairdresser's dummy (by Bob Dylan). Only Ringo's pink stands alone. He is holding a trumpet. Does this signify that he holds the trump card in The Bealtes? Ringo always seems to be the one least in charge, the least opinionated, the one nobody scrutinizes. Ever see "The Usual Suspects?" -j I've read that during the club playing days, Pete Best was so popular that the Beatles once tried a set up where Best was put out front of the rest of the group. Nah, that didn't work. Gotta have the drummer in the back. So, Richard Star Key joins up, and the band takes off. Ringo sits in the back, always. Let's see. Star Key, sits in the back.....once he does, the Beatles take off to super stardom. What about these lyrics: "Climb on the back and we'll go for a ride in the sky". "Jet", of course, by Wings. Yeah, they took off alright once Star Key joined up. Kinda like jet propulsion. For his part, McCartney seems a little confused by what has happened. First, he says he thought the only lonely place was on the moon. Then, he says, "And Jet, you know I thought you was a little lady suffragette".
