only thing i don't like about it is SFF... it's not nice Agreed...it ends the album on a "hateful" downer. If they insist on keeping it, they should add a schmaltzy Ringo song to the end and call it "Food Fight"! ;D

I gotta strongly disagree with y'all. SFF is the perfect conclusion to the hate album. These guys understand what the Beatles were tryin' to say. I'm pretty impressed with most of these tracks, but that is one powerful ending. In fact.... if anything... I think there should've been little downer pockets of reality placed thru-out the work, so the ending doesn't seem so separated from the rest.
I'm impressed.... somebody's got WAY too much time on their hands!!

I listened to SFF first, and I'm still making my way though but.. I agree with EB, that is amazing. The "Shirley Phelps's" of the world are real nutcases.. and dangerous.. (if and when anyone takes them seriously)

I took the Love cd & the Hate cd & made a playlist out of'em & it makes for a really cool listen. Oh, & I added the beatles sample mix The Residents put together... (Beyond The Valley Of a Day In The Life)
The volumes are all close to the same.... very nice shuffle for the ol'MP3 player!

This is very interesting when you listen to some of the tracks on a surround system. The files say they're encoded in standard stereo, but they seem to play in dual stereo on my system, just like LOVE and several tracks on The White Album. Stuff is flying all around my head, man! It's crazy! Anyway, this was a nice find. Where did whoever did this get the raw tracks to mix like this? These aren't just lifted from commercial releases, or they don't seem like it, anyway. Oh, and did anyone click the Apple on the bottom of the page? There's more music in there. Like this: www.ruddart.com/RezBeatles.mp3

Holy crap..... that's hosted on my website.... I clicked on the apple & looked around but didn't find that track... guess I didn't look hard enough. Where did you find that?
Funny how things get around. I had uploaded that Residents track & posted a link to it earlier in this thread. But I only left the link up for 1 day. I see I forgot to take the track off ruddart, but I should probably do that before long, so download that track while ya can. AS I said in post #11 of this thread, I really don't wanna get into trouble with the Residents... they're some of my favorite guys! FYI that track is called Beyond The Valley Of a Day In The Life & was released by The Residents on a 7" with Flying on the other side about 1973-4

When the "Wormwood" tour came to Vegas, I was stunned........ and shocked! My favorite 'regular' mash-up, however has got to be "Crazy Little Fool" by Go Home Productions. It's one thing to put songs together that SOUND alike, or put some 'rapper' over a Beatles song, but this guy put "Fool On The Hill" over "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and it's PERFECT! www.markvidler-gohomeproductions.co.uk/also, check out ccc's "Cracked Pepper" & "Revolved" mp3's. www.mashups.blogspot.com/Lot's o' fun!

Ya, you post on gianteyeballs & stuff (more than I do) I thought that name looked familiar... Howdy! Revolved has some good stuff on it alright... well worth lookin' into for anybody who hasn't already downloaded it. But I think my favorite so far is this here Hate album. Beyond The Valley Of A Day In The Life will be deleted from ruddart by days end, so get it while the gettin'a good.

Yeah, I got to this PHONY-PARTY kinda late, and I assure you I already own "Beyond The Velley......" TWICE! So, how's the water here, anyway? How long have you here? And, you think it's gonna GO anywhere? I brought up "Helter Stupid" by Negativland on that IAMAPHONY blogspot. Anybody brought it up here? Here's hoping this thing has some MEAT to it! Talk to ya' later.

Talk to ya' later. Only twice? Lets see, I've got Beyond The Valley... on the Huddled Masses box & as a bonus track on the old 3rd Reich & Roll, so twice here too, never bought the vinyl 7". The water here's fine, I've been wading around this pond for years. No question, this is the best PWR site around. And I definantly think things are goin' in the right direction around here these days, but if all else fails, it never get's boring. There's always somebody finding somethin' I hadn't noticed before. So have fun... ya found the right spot. negativland..... well I'd be surprised if there's any other Negativland fans around here other than me. Got the Negativland dvd yet?? It's a great dvd of their vids, but the bonus 180 O-G's cd inside the package is worth the price of the dvd alone.
