Just to illustrate: Don't know what to tell you, of course I wonder to myself whose son that is.

is this the only picture of this child? A scan I made of the same picture, a little more clear: And then on the following page, from the Anthology book, in color and then in greyscale to de-emphasize the odd colors:

Okay, I'll say what I have to say, but first just a reminder ( for myself and everybody) to be carefull about jumping to conclusions before there's enough evidence. _____________________________________________ Now then, Barry Miles in his book "Many Years from Now" claimed the boy belonged to Michael Cooper. I'm not so sure that's true. Here is a photo of what appears to be the boy at a younger age (it looks to me like around 2 years old--give or take a few months.) Folks this ain't little Nicola in Magical Mystery Tour! This young boy is on a plane and notice how very comfortable he is around George and Ringo. img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/JGD/Boy3.jpg[/img] A different plane photo. Now, here is what really looks like the same boy with Johnny Halliday and Sylvie Vartan. Why? img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/JGD/Boy2.jpg[/img] Now, here is a very charming family portrait from 1969. It combines Faul's family with McCartney kin. But who in the world is that boy in lower right hand corner though? But is it the same child from the previous photos, only he's a few years older or a different boy? To me, he looks around 6 or 7 years old-- probably about the right age if it were the same child. Below is Paul as a child. Now, obviously the other little boy in the family photo is a McCartney. But is he the same little boy as the other photos and might Paul have had a son? And where might Sylvie Vartan fit into this picture?

Thanks, that is interesting. Just random thoughts here, I can see why you made sure to point out that the kid on the plane wasn't little Nicola, there is a resemblance. Also, as has been pointed out at TKIN, the picture of the kid getting off the plane is dated too early to be David Halliday, so who is he?
Hmm, if he was brought along to family functions at the McCartney's, then it would seem he would have an inkling perhaps at some later date as to what was going on..

Just to illustrate: Don't know what to tell you, of course I wonder to myself whose son that is. I think I heard once about some kid wanting to help with the Sgt Pepper shot

It's Blake's kid, no? The other "young" man was said to be a florist that added the guitar flower arrangement..... To have a child on the set of a photo shoot of this caliber is highly irregular, and one handling a prop (although it may have been later in the day, after the shoot was completed, and these are grab shots.....as you can see the indentation of the trophey in the dirt) still raises quite a few questions........not to mention the positioning of the talisman ilium puerile Origin: 1650–60; < L puerīlis boyish, equiv. to puer boy + - īlis -ile] bone this is a difficult subject

Peter Blake was quoted as saying that it was Adam who donated the "Welcome Rolling Stones Good Guys" shirt. If so, it would be no surprise for him to be at the shoot.

The story may probably be true that this is the photogs son, but a couple of things are curious. One, that of all the extra photos, they chose to include this one in Anthology. (there were others included, but still..) I think this might have possibly been in one of the limited edition books like "Shutters and Blinds", but I've only seen a little bit from Ebay auctions, can't be sure.
The other thing is the pose.. looking at the grave. (referred to as a grave by Derek Taylor)

whos that fella next to george's left shoulder? If you mean the man above Diana Dors and below T.E. Lawrence, that would be Ghandi. He was airbrushed out of the final version.

To me, the boy looks like he could be a little Paul....maybe someone had a child who resembled a young JPM just to make people talk....
...40 years later....
