Here ya go, looks like Paul on a boat to me. Also other stuff I can't make out. I see now. He's in the middle. I believe that the yellow thing that looks like a sail in the front of the boat is the Lear jet that he apparently stole. (Obviously we're talking symbollically here.) The three dots above the boat - alien space craft or canon balls?? accompanying him. The boat looks like two shoes? The "radar dish" is of a type that was used in the 1960's. That particular style operated on a frequency that was used by "aliens", if you can believe some of the stories about Montaulk. I know this all sounds wacky, and I'm sorry. The boyish face on the cliff may represent his son with Sylvie, who he's on his way to see. (If I have my facts right.) Tpk66, could you enlarge the yellow person/people in front of John's nose on the cliff, as well as the ladder-like structure behind them?

Tpk66, your remark about Paul's face is intriguing. There's one immediately to the right of it that looks like any number of rock musicians of that day; long hair and mustache; profile, looking to the right. The pixel process of computer graphics sometimes adds a dimension of squareness to images at the microscopic level that isn't actually there in the original photography. I'd love to see this image as it was originally printed. Anyway, thank you for printing the image of the person next to John's nose. What I see there now is an adult male (Paul?) holding children: one whose head is tucked under his chin, about age two, and another, a dark haired toddler on his right (our left) knee. I will have a lot more to say about this album cover later when I get off from work. There's a lot being told here, imo. There appears to be a fox head to the immediate right of these people, btw. More comments tomorrow; I got home late. Thursday: Same thing. Never enough time!

Well here we go. I am at work with a ten minute break, and about a half an hour's worth of comments. There is no doubt that Paul in the "boat" (shoes) represents his death, imo. The radar mast looks suspiciously like the grim reaper. Paul, the passenger is symbolically crossing the "River Styxx" accompanied by three spirits, (the orbs). Anubis etc. (I'm not quite up to speed on my Egyptian Book of the Dead). But the soul of the "new arrival" to the afterlife was weighed for virtue by the gods; weighed against a feather. The symbols used in the Led Zepellin IV album actually pertain to this, because that album is full of clues about PID, imo. (I know they're supposed to be representative of the band members.) The boat is shoes. This goes to an old notion of that during sleep one goes to the "land of the dead" (astral planes). People who are old enough will remember a "Mother Goose" nursery rhyme about "Wynken, Blynken and Nod" sailing off in a wooden shoe. Carly Simon and her sisters even had a hit single about it! Winkin', blinkin' and nod is what children falling asleep do, going into the land of dreams. Speakling of the River Styxx, the lyrics to the song "Come Sail Away" by Styxx are significant. The song "Fool on the Hill" is a reference to "the Fool" card in the Tarot deck, among other things. The fool is shown walking off a cliff on that card. He doesn't know any better, because he's a fool. What we're being told implicitly is that Paul was fooled into being thrown off the cliffs at Normandy, apparently. So his face would look like what TPK66 has circled. The song "Helter Skelter" also is a reference to an amusement park ride that has something to do with experiencing a free-fall. Again, a reference to what happened to Paul. There's an image of the Beatles where Faul is falling off a wall while Ringo and George try to hang on to John, who is in combat with "Paul". I doubt that John pushed Paul off a wall. It represents Paul's "descent" into madness. Akin to what happened to Syd Barrett. (One shown here: ) members.home.nl/jpgr/(Back to work. ) P.S. How we sometimes look travelling on the astral plane; like bubbles. Remember Glenda the 'good witch' in The Wizard of Oz?: P.P.S. www.trincoll.edu/~pbittenb/08-styx.htmHmmmm.

Almeria is a place of interest. It's a place where Beatles met up ; John had to go there for "How I Won the War." www.spanish-living.com/regional/Andalucia_Almeria.htmTabernas The 'Desierto de Tabernas' is a land mass measuring approximately 11,625 hectares which lies to the north of the city of Almeria. It is considered to be the only real desert in Europe and has been used as a backdrop for a number of famous films. How I Won the War. And, maybe, Richard Lester's "Three Musketeers"...........certain exterior shots...... Ibiza isn't a long plane ride from Almeria..... When wer they there?....i have forgotten...... the coast of the area of Almeria:

Doc, That's a very interesting find! The photo looks even more like the area portrayed on the alternative white album cover than the cliffs at Normandy, imo. This even has the light house on the top. And since John went there to film "How I Won the War" there's a known Beatle connection. Also the lyrics from "Band On the Run" that go like: "The night was falling on the dessert town" could fit in with this place. I need to look into this further, but I think THIS IS THE PLACE. Specifically, in the link you provided, this description:
"Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata The Natural Park of Cabo de Gata has become one of the jewels in the crown of Almeria and was created in 1987. It is the first Terrestrial/marine Park in Andalusia covering 38,000 hectares of dry land and 12,000 hectares of land under water. The land in this area has remained largely undeveloped, there are no real towns, just small villages scattered here and there. San Miguel de Cabo de Gata is one such village, home to a large lake favoured by flamingos. The Faro de Cabo de Gata (lighthouse) sits on the cape's southern tip and on a clear day the Rif Mountains in Morocco can be seen. Scuba divers and snorkellers are attracted to a stretch of seabed 2 km wide in the park where marine flore and fauna are abundant."
The watery sounds and allusions in the lyrics of "Strawberry Fields Forever" and the song "Octopus's Garden" would make sense as a reference to here if someone had fallen off the cliffs, or been trown off, etc., and landed in the water.
Thank you again for coming up with this Doc!

There was another supposed alt version of the WA cover, I believe this has come up before: Also noteworthy is the original working title, "A Doll's House", based on the Ibsen Play.

Perhaps, although I think they were sourcing the original play and the ideas expressed therein. Valley of the Dolls featured Patty Duke of "identical cousins" fame, hmm. Not a strong connection, just a fun observation..
Interesting thing about the play: It follows the formula of Well-Made Play up until the final act, when it breaks convention by ending with a discussion, not an unraveling.
Huh.. sounds familiar?

Greetings from Fylvie! Seems to be North Normandy Beach. Is this "The wall"? www.normandybeach.co.uk/contentpages/paragliding.htm(See it in the distance of hang-gliders photo at top.) www.destination360.com/europe/france/normandy.php"Lastly, don’t miss the beautiful seascape at Mont-St-Michel bay. A granite wall stands 264 feet high, leaving a lasting impression on visitors, as they gaze out into the bay. Normandy is a picturesque portion of France, with vast history, and a solemn atmosphere. " "Solemn" all right. And what does Sylvie have to do with this? She "fell" from a wall, didn't she? Normandy beach is where the U.S./British/Canada Allies landed on June 6 1944 "D-Day" to begin the liberation of Western Europe from the Nazi Reich of former Liverpool resident Adolph Hitler. On the Sgt. Pepper cover, an arrow points to the Normandy area of the floral outline of France. Above this is a hidden mirror picture of a tiny Adolph Hitler.

It's come up before that Hitler was using doubles; in another thread somewhere there's a picture of one of them, Gustav Weler, found with a gunshot in his head by the Soviets when they got into the Hitler bunker in Berlin.
The idea of Hitler being permanently replaced with an imposter somewere on the timeline, or escaping alive at the end of WWII has not come up yet, but it might.

No, Yugoslavian flag had a darker blue tone and a red star in the middle, Faul's flag looks like an upside-down Luxembourg flag, while George's looks like the Netherlands' flag (also upside-down).

Thanks. ;D
There are 3 or 4 individuals messing with Ringo's mustache, it would seem, but the quality of the picture isn't good enough for me to know what's going on. I'm not blaming you, tkp1966. It's probably fairly ambiguous even with a perfectly clear image.

Ilras, I think that the area you've circled in yellow is supposed to be fangs and teeth. If you look at the colored version, it's a little easier to see that there's a huge bird superimposed onto the cliff side. (See reply # 54.) Its head is under Ringo's chin. If you look straight down from the light house, down to the area to the left of Ringo's face, but under it, you can see the bird's eye. Its one wing sweeps up from under the shattered child's face all the way up to the chin of the top-most face. I believe it is supposed to be a black bird. I know that black birds have beaks; not teeth, but this one seems to have teeth. I don't know whether the "Fylvie" cliffs are the ones shown on the alternate white album. The Fylvie cliffs are at Normandy.
