The NIR Committee was originally a username created for the purpose of the thread (also here in General) The Story. Of course, those familiar with how this came about know that the information in that thread was the result of the efforts of one person for the most part, just that that person wanted to maintain some privacy.. Hence the name "NIR Committee". The committee part comes in due to the fact that some of us helped this person with the presentation. The NIR Committee name was always available to those who knew about it, and who wished to use it for a similar purpose, so it was decided to resurrect it. Am I involved? Yes, in discussions about presenting. (and whether to present it at all) Just speaking for myself, the others prefer to stick with the moniker of the O.P. Now, why is the ACV account still signing in? Because the machine that ACV used to post all these years is in the possession of the person who delivered the information that ACV had died. Without getting too specific, it was a way connecting to the net that involved a self contained unit that attached to one's television, good for portability, bad because it's missing certain features that smooth getting onto a Java heavy service like Proboards. I only mention this because: hmmm interesting. have i checked out the IP's? yes i have. Do i have answers? yes but nothing that is going to satisfy anyone one way or anotherThe Ip's you see in the beginning of his posting history are from the service I mentioned above. The IP's you see later are from jojoplace, as I have a proxy going there, and for some reason it allowed his service to serve Proboards pages with no problem. The IP "behind" the jojoplace IP was always his original, I have the logs. Now.. This is the information that was given, and I explained how it it was given. You all can take it however you like, reject or accept as you see fit.

I'll throw in one more PM he threw my way...
JoJo,
There exist many who have played a part in this ongoing drama.
Some are dead, and some are living.
Many have been mentioned in this forum. Some to a great extent, some merely in passing.
It would stagger the mind in knowing just how many different souls it took to replace just "one."
Some seen and not heard, some heard and not seen, while others pulled the strings to create such an elaborate dance.
What had been an easy fix, turned more complicated with time.
Billy did not invent Neil. Neil is an actual person with the position within Apple that history has recorded. No mystery here.
That is not saying that Neil was a innocent bystander in all of this.
Just that the current line of thought is flawed way "beyond the beyond."
Bill is an actual person as well. Quite capable of filling in for a missing musician. His face is not as visible as "others" who had a more "visual" part to play, but the genesis rest on his shoulders.

Yes, Neil was Apollo...> ;D LOL. But then again, he was, wasn't he! Aside from his trademark line: "There's nothing you can see that isn't shown", Apollo was well known for his comparison of the situation of the Beatles with the story of Apollo and Hyacinthus: www.online-mythology.com/apollo_hyacinthus/And certainly he could be seen as one who devoted his life to the cause of telling the story of the Beatles, (and perhaps 'Hyacinthus') in one way or another. Btw, here is the link to the thread with all many of the Apollo messages on it again: LETTERS FROM ACV invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=members1&action=display&thread=1924&page=1

If I were Apollo, and I just wanted to fuck with people's heads, why not PM the moderators and inform them that Apollo was Neil? If you're sick of playing the charade, and yet you want to go out with a big bang, why not immortalise yourself in people's memories by making yourself out to be a recently deceased Apple legend?
All I'm saying is, I'd like this person who is now in possession of ACV's computer to come forward and offer some proof that ACV was Neil Aspinall. Otherwise, I see no reason to believe that ACV is dead... I know that sounds shallow, and I apologise to anyone who knew ACV well enough to think he'd never pull the wool over anyone's eyes.

Strangely enough, I started researching Apollo a couple of days before this thread came to be. He mentions a graffiti covered door (at Apple and/or on the back of a Ringo album), saying a very important clue is on it. Does anyone have a high to semi-high quality image of it? If someone has began their journey into the unknown, well then R.I.P Jojo links in first post: invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Clues&thread=4133&page=1I think the important clue was figured out as well, though I don't recall exactly what it was. A portrait of JPM made from the graffiti or something, if memory serves. I think Jojo may recall.

You know that won't happen. All I can say is that he had made it a point to send Christmas greetings to everyone here by way of Jojo, Red Lion, and others, and he failed to do so last Christmas. That may not prove anything, but for those of us who knew his ways, it seemed quite uncharacteristic. If he was on his way out at the time, that makes sense.

There is no product being sold here. Quite frankly it is amazing how threatened people feel here, about an individual that endeavored to inject a bit of sanity and direction into a topic that had little of either.

Absolutely, and I'd like to add that in no way are any of you damaged/injured (nor is the purpose of the board) by reading any of what he posted or by the private material some have shared. This was always given with no strings.. For me, that was clear from the beginning.

The only way I will believe what Apollo has stated is the version of reality is if I can prove it myself...through the clues he says are there(along with NIR members help) and common sense. No matter what the subject, I think it's important to prove and validate things for yourself and not rely on "handed down" information from anybody no matter how expert they are or appear to be. Now some may say that the clues are handed down but they are there for everybody to see and judge for themselves.
Everyone has seen the clues left by the Beatles(and still being left) and everyone interprets them in slightly different ways. But much of the main meaning behind them is agreed up and it is mainly agreed that the Beatles were trying to tell us that Paul died and was replaced by a double. But now this business with Apollo puts a whole new twist on things.
The one thing that Apollo's version is that it makes the Beatles into liars somewhat. It's one thing to say publicly that Paul is dead and then deny it because you fear for your life or your family's. But it's another thing to create a story that is intended for people to believe to disguise another story within it. It seems a lot for the Beatles to go through all of that to play a game. Also, by saying Paul is alive and well you also take away the blame for anyone involved in his death(if he did in fact die) and stop anyone from looking into it. Anyway, much research and time will tell....

The thing is, a person would require inside information about Neil's health condition in order to "fake" certain things, (such as Apollo's abrupt disappearance, which occurred before Neil's lung cancer was publicly announced). Plus Apollo made comments, (to me and to others), in the weeks before Neil died that can, in retrospect, be clearly interpreted to mean he knew he was on the way out. -j
