What's the name of that song that's being played in the last 2 minutes or so of RA 9 q?
I'm probably betraying my naivete by even asking the question. I can't even do a Google search because NONE of the words is sung with enough clarity to be recognizable.
But the refrain SOUNDS (incorrectly, I'm sure) like, "Singing have a little oasis now".

It is whatever you happen to hear, but if you play it backwards, it is the song "Come And Get It," which Paul McCartney wrote for the movie "The Magic Christian."

This song definitely is a better play backwards than forwards, even if it IS incomprehensible. No death clues in reverse that I can hear either. On a side note, responding to a few things that you said in your own blog, I'm going to work on getting access to a phonograph this weekend, and I've also taken another suggestion, and I've ordered a black light from an online supplier in order to study the record surface with (I don't know how readily available they are, and I didn't feel like hunting hither and yon for a store which carried one). You said that you "envied" me for finding the briefcase, but it's a mixed blessing, believe me, since it seems to impose upon me the responsibility to make sure that I've found everything that there is to be found in it.

You have handled it very well. I hope you find something interesting on that record, but it will have to be really special to be better than Badfinger's "Rock of Ages."

I praised that song for the guitar solo, but now that you mention it, another song by Badfinger on the Magic Christian Soundtrack is "Carry On Til Tomorrow" and I believe Mal Evans is the uncredited producer. Badfinger - Carry On Till Tomorrow lyricsIn younger days, I told myself my life would be my own And I'd leave the place where sunshine never shone For my life's too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorow, there's no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on Beyond the shadows of the clouds and onward to the sky Carry on till I find the rainbow's end For my life's too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorow, there's no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on Drifting on the wings of freedom, leave this stormy day And we'll ride to tomorrow's golden fields For my life's too short for waiting when I see the rising sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on, carry on, carry on And when the heavy journey's done, I'll rest my weary head For the world and it's colours will be mine For my life's too short for waiting when I see the setting sun Then I know again that I must carry on Carry on till tomorow, there's no reason to look back Carry on, carry on, carry on

There's a video performance on the page I gave. Did you listen to it?

There's a video performance on the page I gave. Did you listen to it? I have that version, so I didn't pay much attention. I see red lights, green lights, but no Strawberry Wine. Interesting things are happening in the background, including the Apple Album cover, which has always intrigued me anyway. Is there something in particular I should be observing with my Iameyes and Iamears?

Let me get this straight, the interview has been 're-schedualed' for some future date BECAUSE you haven't found all the clues? I'm new here, so maybe I missed something.

[/quote] yeah something in that direction indeed. ah well, i'm sure we'll get the lyrics to it someday, but after all it's Come and Get It backwards, so it may not mean anything
