Hello Everyone - This is my first post. Though I am NOT new to The Beatles, have been a fan for more years than I care to mention. LOL! And I have heard about the Faul story for many, many years.
I have loved the Beatles music for over 35 years, and I have to say that the stories of Paul actually dying in a car crash, and being killed, then replaced, is something that hurts me tremendoulsly. IF this is true, the person who is "Paul", that we know, really should be ashamed of himself. I would like to know the truth. I would ask that he tell his fans. IF he comes to this message forum, I ask that he stop, and tell us one way or another. The fans deserve that. Because HE would NOT be the voice I fell in love with.
This board is wonderful, as I am slowly reading everything, so please bare with me. It is a something that is very hard for me to read all at once.
I do thank you all for the information. Very informative. I do not know what to think. But I do know it hurts my heart.
Best, Marie (EPE123)

Hi Marie. Welcome to the forum. What does the EPE123 stand for, if I may ask? You wrote: "the person who is "Paul", that we know, really should be ashamed of himself. I would like to know the truth. I would ask that he tell his fans. IF he comes to this message forum, I ask that he stop, and tell us one way or another. The fans deserve that. Because HE would NOT be the voice I fell in love with."He may fancy that he is on a noble mission to keep the memory of Paul McCartney alive, or some such thing. There are all kinds of possibilities, and he may have been trapped in the role years ago, and feel relatively powerless to 'come clean' about it now. Still, I think it's a situation even more complex than that. The clues at this point seem to suggest that at the time he took over the role, he may not have cared much if he was the real one or not, where-as now he may feel that he is being virtuous in some measure by keeping the awareness of Paul McCartney alive. I certainly cannot speak for him, but it does seem as if the Beatles intended that an awareness of Paul's absence would dawn on the public at some point! Take your time catching up on everything here. There's more to all of this than meets the eye, of that you can be absolutely certain! And I suspect that this story involves more than just the aspirations of a Paul wannabe. I dare say you may encounter yourself in the big picture, much to your own astonishment and amazement! Welcome aboard! Mess'ers K and H assure the public their production will be second to none. And of course Jojo, Dark Horse, and Eyesbleed et al, are doing everything they can, along with Doc Robert to make the show the best that it can be.

Thank you for the greeting. Yes, I am trying to read as much as I can. But I have to say, it is something that is really hard for me to believe. Or to understand. I am just a Beatles fan looking in here. I don't know what to think. I am trying to understand it all. To me it is simple, if this is NOT the real Paul, then he needs to come out. Just how I feel. I am not a fan of the solo projects. Maybe John... But I do have an open mind and will read as much as I can.

I understand how you feel. I was a 19-year old when the WABC broadcast about Paul possibly being dead aired in October of 1969. I know that if felt like 911, or the day Kennedy was shot, or any other such traumatic event you could name, for those of us at the time, and I remember how we stayed up all night, both horrified and intrigued; saddened and fascinated. I have never forgotten. Nor could I, or most anyone else who lived through that event. In a very real way, it was "the day the Earth stood still". I wish you all the best.

Welcome epe, & have fun peelin' away the layers of the glass onion.. You've got a lot of reading to do! ;D There's a lot to take in & there are more layers to this than are initially evident. But one thing about this little mystery is that it never gets boring. Somebody's always finding something interesting.

Yes, I see that there are MANY layers to all of this. I hope most will bear with me as I do read. And ask questions. I hope not to "over ask". HA! Marie (EPE123)

"the person who is "Paul", that we know, really should be ashamed of himself. I would like to know the truth. I would ask that he tell his fans..."
Faul tells his fans all the time. They are just cryptic signs that have to be deciphered. IMO, he's come as close to saying he's not Paul as it is possible w/o actually saying, "Hey, I'm not Paul." Some videos, where, I think, they give up the game are "This One" & "Free as a Bird."

Welcome, Marie. These forums are all about trying to get to the bottom of the mystery. I myself have been involved in this since 2003, and I'm still discovering new things !
Glad to have you amongst us !!! ;D
