Imagine a scenario where every picture of Paul is actually Paul. Enjoy for a moment the possibility that there has only ever been one man in the role of Paul McCartney, and that this man has played multiple versions of himself as a form of artistic expression.
That notion isn't too hard to entertain, really.

Very nice pics & height comparisons & stuff mommybird. And an excellent example of JPM's size. So it probably wouldn't hurt to repeat it ....

oh one more: pepper paul is JPM, too. i just realized the likeness: they look exactly a like! No. They don't. Sorry. Pepper is the switch over point. Evidently the cover paul is an amalgam. Certainly different from the other pics. (like this) So, they've worked on faul of course to look like JPM. The new look of the boys lends a hand in the transition. So yeah, there are similarities in those pics. Supposed to be. Alot of effort went into pulling this off. it worked. One key thing is the distance from bottom lip to tip of chin. Not the same at all. JPM's is a shorter distance by far.

It seems pretty clear to my eyes that there is a height difference, do you think those who question the height might pose that JPM grew several inches? How old was he in the Ringo picture?

I would guess that he was at least 21. I do know that it is very rare for people to grow after their 18th birthday. Add to that the fact that Paul seems to be built just like his da... There's also a difference in their body types. The person who played Faul for the longest time has a larger frame than Paul did. Paul1964 Faul1968/69 Paul1964 Faul1970 This thread contains more comparisons: only1rad.proboards62.com/index.cgi?board=plastic&action=display&thread=605I need to add more soon. Truecolors has posted many new photos of Paul that I can use to do so. Now, all I have to do is find the time !

The same shenanigans that might be used to make a stand in look like Paul could be used to make Paul look like a stand in.
Photo and audio trickery can go both directions.

Less likely to happen with films though. Too bad Guildenstern got banned; I would have liked to have heard what excuse he or anyone could come up with to deny mommybird's pictures of two quite different people. When it's just a picture or two, then you can bring out the lens distortion or lighting excuses or what have you, but to get to see one picture after another like that, how can anyone deny it's two men. I sometimes lose faith comparing old Faul to JPM but when you see all those 'right after' shots, it sure seems convincing. I'd be interested to read what particular piece of evidence made a particular member into a believer. For me it was comparing the rooftop film and the Get Back session films to the earlier videos. Such a totally different man there from the pixieish bouncy hoarse-voiced JPM . In the late sixties we had a big migration to Toronto Canada of people from the Maritimes seeking work, and this east coast girl I used to take the bus home with would amuse herself by identifying all the Maritimers to me as they filed on the bus, claiming she could always tell them with just a glance. Anyway a lot of Maritimers, I came to learn, have that stiff military body language that the new Paul displays, and that manner of curling his lips back over his teeth that I don't remember seeing JPM do, and the cocky confident attitude, for instance when the good English boys are about to obey the Police, and he just rides through it. In the Get Back rehearsal film the same cockiness and even mockery of Beatle mannerisms, and "The boys is ready for action" is Newfie talk as well as "F##kface" was an expression big in Toronto at that time, for what that's worth. How much Faul's changed and refined into JPM since then. I still feel the Rooftop was an audition to see if John could pass off Faul and he wound up thinking that he couldn't. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd8JYA4MvlQwww.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey64bKA2mKA&feature=related

First of all, I would like to apologize to any of the readers who may have been upset or offended by my previous posts, esp EB. Part of my problem, at that time, was exhaustion and burnout from work, but I had been on vacation and have calmed myself down in many ways. So I wanted to revisit and just say I'm sorry. To say that this was becoming "Don Knotts' ish" was bad and I'm sorry about that. And that I accused EB of a personal attack and I am sorry for that. I had to be reminded here and at another forum that this forum is not exclusively PID. And I'm sorry for ruffling any feathers. Nuff said on that. Regarding the "fake ear" picture and such, someone argued about a stray sideburn hair. While his sideburn may extend down lower than most mean wear it today, the hair itself would still be short in length and could not have been brushed over that far, where that tiny line is. Though most people don't realize it, "Faul" was an inventor. Let me share this here on this thread. "Tired of losing your ears? Ashamed to have a gaping hole on the side of your head? Have you been chosen to replace a famous celebrity and your ears don't match? Well, you need to buy a pair of "Mr. Bill's Rubber Press On Ears". So natural feeling and almost undetectable to the naked eye. You can slap those buggers on the sides of your head and look like the celebrity you've always wanted to replace...or at least fooling friends at parties! Mr. Bill's press on ears come in different shades of flesh tones, and sizes, and can be made to look "detached" or "attached". And if you order now, we'll will include a second pair of Mr. Bill's Rubber Press On Ears. Only $19.99. And if you order now, we'll also include the Mr. Bill's disguise kit makes anyone look like Paul Mc Cartney. Including Beatle wig, shoe lifts, fake teeth, and a little lip scar to look just like Paul Mc Cartney. Available at your local discount jip joint"

I really appreciate that. Apology accepted & all that good stuff. ;D I know how it is.... working too much & not having enough free time will turn me into a total shithead! And the only thing that'll clean that crap out is some downtime. Yep, staying busy is good but too much work can be a bitch. Well, anyway, good to have ya back posting again LR. Take care....

The criticism regarding giving validity to photo comparisons, from the likes of Jguildersl33t... they say it shows a lack of scholarship and it wouldn't pass in a court of law.
Fisheye lens ATM cameras have helped nab criminals, grainy black & white video footage from convenience stores or banks have helped capture criminals, FBI composite sketches from a person's description are used on wanted posters and they have helped to nab criminals... etc.
Yes, there might be other evidence that helps seal the deal in the criminal courts.
I think these photo comparisons tip the scales toward the possibility that something strange did happen, and most here are very open to that possibility.
Whether of not the photos would hold up in a court of law is really not a factor (irrelevant) in the process of tipping the scales of doubt which leads to further scrutiny in other areas.
To opine that one absolutely CAN NOT compare photos of two people (or the same person) at different times, as it is not scholarly, is quite a bit quirky in its own way.

Top one IMO is Bill, bottom one is MMT era where most pics of "Paul" are really questionable, you had another if I remember correctly with a B&W 68' pic and 66' color pic which was spot on.
