I've listened to "Love Me Do" several times on the PAST MASTERS VOLUME 1 cd and it is REALLY bothering me. It was supposed to have been an alternate recording of the song, recorded in 1962, but Paul's voice is hoarse and sounds much older. Has anyone else heard this cut and what do you think?

Just listened to it and his voice doesn't seem old, maybe he just something in his throat. His mic could have been bad.

That's Faul or Bill. His voice is raspier and sounds older. The real Paul sounds almost as young today at 67 as he did in his 20s. There's a soft, boyish quality to his voice while Faul's doesn't have that. Welcome to the world of two Paul McCartneys.
