Hi there! I'm new to the site I've had a fascination with the Beatles for a few years now, over the incredible coincidences & hidden meanings in their work. One that blew me away was when I discovered that Linda although from a Jewish New York family, is no relation to the Eastman photographic empire. She actually inherited the name Eastman when her Grandfather ( I think), who for what ever reason changed the family name from Epstein to Eastman early last century.

I remember researching that a while back and found the same thing about Eastman/Epstein. I never thought to post about it, so I'm glad that you did. Reading this just made me remember. Hope you enjoy you stay here-

The answer to this question is probably somewhere on this forum. Does anyone know when Linda was supposed to have first met Paul ? It makes things interesting if it was before late 1966.

Be interesting if that was the case, 20th anniversary of the death of Aleister Crowley. & Linda is an excuse for Paul to become reclusive thus avoiding any public scrutiny.

Pepper was released 19.5 years after Crowley's death, not 20 years. -j If Crowley was the one who "taught the band to play", he couldn't very well teach the band while he was deceased, now could he? 19.5 is perfect. In which case he therefore had 6 months to teach the band everything he knew before dropping dead.

I think Linda could have been a New York relative of Brian Epstein. She was from Scarsdale, Westchester County NY which is very upper-crust. And judging from Brian's accent, he was not just some small-town (or even medium-size town) store owner. He was an upper-crust Londoner.
And the reason that Sgt Pepper taught the band to play is that Sgt Pepper is Aleister Crowley who came back from the dead to be Faul. Reincarnation doesn't happen to everyone, only to a select few.

Brian Epstein was not an "upper crust Londoner" he was born into a well to do Jewish family in Liverpool: father Harry Epstein and mother Queenie Hyman of Sheffield; her family had a furniture business.
