I was reading THE LOVE YOU MAKE by Peter Brown (1983 with Steven Gaines) and there's a story about a girl in Liverpool who had given birth to a boy in the spring of 1964 and claimed Paul was the father. The Beatles' attorney supposedly gave her 3,000 British pounds as hush money, but her uncle supposedly handed out handbills throughout the crowd of people at the Beatles' Northern premiere of A HARD'S DAY'S NIGHT, in the summer of 1964, saying Paul was the father of his neice's baby. Even if most Beatles fans would have thrown the handbills away, don't you think SOME people would have saved them? Does anyone know of any of those handbills surfacing? Two more things. . . Is the little boy mentioned in the NIR Committee story, the boy mentioned here? And in the PID/PWR Songs section, page 2, Lili said the girl who gave birth was Anita Cochrane and she gave birth at Billinge Hospital near Wigan. According to my internet research, Billinge Hospital did not open a maternity ward until 1968.

How old? I never heard it. Is the man extant? I'll do some research on him if NIRers think it's worthwhile.

Sort of an interesting experience I had:
Last night I had a dream. Not a real long one, nor a really detailed one, but it concerned something I'd never consciously thought about before (nor do I think I've ever really heard anybody else mention or discuss before either).
So check it out: All four Beatles have bore sons, all of which (coincidentally ??) are musicians. We all know Zac plays drums like dad; Julian and Sean both play guitar (I know Sean mainly plays bass, but can assume because of that, also plays guitar); Dani is a guitarist just like dad was; and speculation of McCartney's son releasing an album must mean he, at the very least, is a singer....
Well, in my dream, the four sons, Zac, Dani, Sean, and Paul's son (don't know his name off-hand) all joined together and formed The New Beatles!
I can't really recall any other details of the dream, other than the fact that so many people were not so much surprised that they did this, but that no one had ever really stopped to consider this as a possibility before.
I guess the only question I would have is this: Does anybody know for a fact whether or not McCartney's son is a bass player? And if so, does anyone know exactly how accomplished of a musician he might actually be?
Because if he is.... Wow.... Wouldn't that be something if it actually happened? Probably unlikely due to the fact that they'd be open to so much scrutiny and criticism.... But hey, like they say...
One can always dream, right?

That is an interesting dream. I know that Paul's daughter, Bettina Krischbin, (so she claims) is a talented singer. The sh*t hit the fan when she wanted to perform under the name McCartney, tho. Paul's son might have a similar problem...

Just not give a damn what anybody thinks, get together, rehearse, go off into a studio like Four Monks for a while; woodhsed some tunes; get a manager, book a tour, and just frikkin' do it. Just do it. Hire a producer or writer or whatever they need to expedite the agonizing process of writing and learning tunes. Make compromises; take chances, and just DO it because fate has made it possible for them to unite and make a positive statement. Include one, or at max, two, Beatle covers, 2 fun ones, one early, one later, but make it 95% originals. Talk about life goes on thru the sons----what an uplifting idea. The Beatlessons.

Paul's Wikipedia article states that his girlfriend in Liverpool was Dot Rhone, that he was going to marry her because she was pregnant, but that she lost the baby and that ended the relationship.
An abortion perhaps?
A birth and adoption maybe?

There's loads of info on Anita, the boy Philip, and the whole situation here: sentstarr.tripod.com/beatgirls/anita.htmlApparently it was common knowledge all over Liverpool that Paul was the boy's father, and I'd say he does bear more than a passing resemblance.

James Paul McCartney was a saint to many a fan but as this story shows God is a woman and the Devil is a man. Maybe MacFake can make amends but he should first say (if he can) "God is woman and the Devil is a man."

Paul fathered a child before he was famous, or by the time they were breaking fame, and they didn't want to tarnish his image...that's not a stretch of the game of fame....Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones fathered many children and didn't claim any of them...if memory serves me correctly there are at least a half dozen who claim to be Jones' illigit children.... What does that have to do with Faul? does he claim to be a female god? Really? Is her name Pearl?

What does that have to do with Faul? does he claim to be a female god? Really? Is her name Pearl? God is a woman because she has to be RESPONSIBLE with all the mess that the Devil makes. God woman has the POWER to make men do anything but they are also stuck with the RESPONSIBILITY. The man with his Devil may care attitude goes galevanting around having sex with anyone he wants leaving the God woman to raise the kid alone. As I say the woman can destroy the men but then what would she do. My point with Faul is just like JPM he is avoiding responsibility. Some posters have said Faul is a woman and he may be. The thing is if Faul is a God woman why is he pretending to be JPM. If he is a Devil man he is no better than any other man so he should admit God is a woman and the Devil is a man.
