I could not disagree more that John or any of the (true) Beatles "sold their souls to the Devil." I'm not discounting the possibility that there's a spiritual angle to this tale, I'm only saying that the Beatles were definitely good guys. Oh yeah? Ask his son if he was a "good guy". Ask his wife (his real wife, not the witch he took up with later). Ask the dozens of illegitimate children he left behind by underage groupies. Yeah, he was a great guy.

It's true that he was involved with witchcraft. However, I highly doubt that he originated said involvement. I believe that he was kept under control using drugs. And that Yoko was his "handler". I can't even guess when we "lost" John to her. I do think that he was beginning to come back to himself in the late 1970's, and that "Double Fantasy" was his "rebirth". He was"offed" before he could tell the world the hell that he had been put through. I saw him in an elevator shortly before his death. He looked very thin, very drawn. In fact, if I hadn't been with my girlfriend who was a HUGE fan of his, I never would've recognized him. He was very quiet, pensive. Not at all what I would've expected. Something was definitely weighing on that man's mind. It was obvious even to us at the time. We were devastated when he was killed shortly thereafter. We left work that day & headed straight for the Dakota.

Luigi, John most definitely was NOT a good guy. He used to piss off of the roof onto the nuns below him. However, just because he could be a BASTARD at times, doesn't make him a satanist. I know plenty of bastards who don't need to sell their soul to the devil to be mean spirited. John had a hard childhood. It's been documented over & over that he was emotionally disturbed. I know that he did Cyn & Jules wrong. I'm sure that Johnny knew it too. I believe that Paul's death caused him further emotional damage. I think that he was in a very vulnerable state when SHE entered his life. He was ripe for the picking. I believe that she used unfair means in order to trap him and make him hers. Poor Cyn didn't stand a chance... Where did you hear that John left behind DOZENS of children ? If he did, I'm sure that a few of them would've made the news. I haven't heard of one...

"I know that he did Cyn & Jules wrong."
Yeah, but John came under Yoko's (his handler's) influence. Those guys were all being controlled to a certain extent, imo. John tried to take on the Illuminati & lost. I stand by my assertion that John was a being of light. You can believe whatever you want, but I think this attempt to paint him as a "satanist" is just a smear campaign.

Just for the record:
In starting this thread, it was not my intent to say that John was a satanist. That is not my opinion. My focus was going to be on John being 'in the role of satan' in a musical "play" that was The Beatles. Unfortunately, I have not had the time to piece together the backing material, and it is on the back burner for now, as there are other threads I feel are a priority at the moment.

Letter B, thank you for clearing that up. That sounds like a very interesting theory. I look forward to reading it .

Letter B, I was not attacking you. The smear campaign against John seems like it's being conducted by the same people who took him out - the Illuminati. The book that recently came out, "The Prophecy of John Lennon," (or "The Lennon Prophecy" or whatever it's called :-P) is one example of that. I think they are trying to discredit his memory b/c he is still a powerful force for good & positive change. He is dangerous to them. If they convince people he's a satanist, then no one will look to him for inspiration. The ironic thing is that the Illuminati are the satanists!
This is all JMO, of course.

Trutha, I can see where you're coming from. John was trying to become a better person. It's a shame that he was taken out so young.
