First off, thanks JoJo, i understand i sparked some stuff that well, goes back a bit to the old times of PID/PIA bickering, however, i didn't mean to, i was just venting a bit.
Secondly, i don't "mouth off" at your forum MB, i don't even see what you mean. I offer my opinions, and possible explanations, admit when i'm wrong, or can't debunk something, like with the ear thread, etc. Sorry if it seem that i'm mouthing off, it's not something intentional, i'm just a straightforward, open person, and that's not always good.

That 'Faul' doesn't look like anyone, that is one of the stranger (more odd) pics. i can tell you why: SK "invented" Faul. He disturb and flipped that image: a few seconds into the video, he looks quite normal: The ORIGINAL "invented" picture is at: www.geocities.com/~beatleboy1/db1966.1220.beatles.htmlAsk site owners if that was "invented" (actually they stated it was from a vhs tape) The one on the right was taken by Sun King from a DVD.

JS2 said "i'm just a straightforward... person ..." How can you make that claim when you post a doctored photo & then try to trick people? Whether they say it was Faul or Paul, they're going to be wrong, right? Great for you to prove your point, whatever that may be. Anyway, glad you're off of PID Miss Him.

Well, obviously, Faul *looked* like Paul. That is the point of a double, isn't it? But just b/c he *looked* like him doesn't mean it was him. And anyway, I don't think that pic of MMT Faul really looks that much like Paul (the eyes are difft). I would not be surprised if it had been doctored, b/c they've been caught doctoring photos before. It's a possibility, I think, that should be borne in mind. Photo doctoring was fully proved here: invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=TAR&action=display&thread=3264&page=1

I said i am straightforward as in opinion-wise, no-one (except maybe trj ) can doubt where i stand. I was just testing, got bored and decided to waste 5-10 Mins. No real harm done, and i'm glad i'm off MISS HIM too.

"Photo doctoring was fully proved here: invanddis.proboards29.com/index.c....ead=3264&page=1" Oh, I know photos have been doctored. It's annoying that people like JS2 doctor photos out of malice, but what I find really disturbing is that there are "official" photos out there that have been doctored.

"Malice"? No. Just to see what you'd say. You people read WAY too much into everything.

GN, thank you so much for posting that link. I drove myself nuts the other day looking for the "original" photo of Paul that they superimposed the mustache on. Now I can go back into that thread & finally prove my point ! Woo Hoo !!!!! ;D

Michelle that's a great little video, thanks for showing it to us.
I can see what you mean, he seems to have a chunkier JPM nose, not that I'm too sure what I mean by that. Though the voice has seems a little deeper and more of an early-beatles timbre to it - again not really sure what I mean lol.

The chap performing Blackbird in the video Michelle posted... ...reminds me of this mysterious character from reply #281 of the Did JPM Return? thread: Here's the thread: invanddis.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=pidpix&action=display&thread=4794&page=12

"he seems to have a chunkier JPM nose" Paul had a refined nose.

Please don't waste your precious time with black&white photo comparisons. With film frames is more simple.... Are you looking for Paul after 1966? If still "living" he was surely not with the "Paul look" you know.

Concerning the P(D)enny La(I)ne comparison between Paul & Faul on the MMT bus. It is true that Faul really resembles Paul in that particular photo. But, isn't that the whole idea ? What good is a replacement/lookalike if he isn't capable of fooling us once in awhile ? The fact is, Faul is obviously slumping down in that seat. You can tell this by his posture. And, Faul's ears are obviously closer to his head than Paul's were. In 1967, that is the usual "tell", the ears. Either his ears were close to his head, or he was wearing fake ones that usually stuck out at either a different angle from Paul, or a totally unnatural angle.

Thing is, one has to be careful into taking the hair into consideration. Most of us are so conditioned to look for the moptop that our mind automatically discounts any possible JPM photo that doesn't have it.
Paul and the replacement were probably trading off quite a bit in the late '60s. Don't stop looking for Paul just because you expect the replacement to be there.

The guy in the video looks and sounds like Faul to me.
Some of us have also been conditioned to believe Paul was alive and well past 1966 so we look at pics that we haven't seen before where Faul doesn't look the same and we think it's Paul.

Michelle, it's Faul. His ears look strange in that video. They look like they're made of plastic or something. It seems to me that they aren't even with each other on his head. Also, his eyes are closer together than Paul's were. If he's doing some kind of "tic" it is simply him further emulating Paul. I wish that someone would do a capture from that video & a similar capture of Paul from before September 1966. I don't know how to capture screen shots !

Here is real Faul for comparison. www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-FmAXRKtws&feature=relatedImages in documentaries still can be trusted. I hope someone will post instructions here on how to capture images off YouTube. I use Jing for my screen captures. It's free, and there's a version for Mac (which I use at home) and one for PC (which I use at work). It's never given me a problem. www.jingproject.com/

I have yet to see a pic (or video) of Paul post Aug 1966. MMT "Paul" is Faul, imo.
