Well, I'm still paying off student loans and trying to figure out how this is going to come out of my budget. I've got to get moth the stereo and mono box sets, and somehow get the most ridiculously expensive Rock Band bundle on the same day. Well, so I don't own any gaming system, so I'll have to spend some serious money to get this together. Last time I bought something that hooked up to the TV, it had a couple of knobs, and played pong.. So I bought Guitar Hero for the Mac, way cheaper and just so I can work on my skill set and see if I actually would like playing this game. Damn addictive.. Guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.. ;D

Hah! Do they change Paul's facial model in those later scenes, or is it just me?
Yeah, this is definitely a must buy. It'll be interesting to see what scenes they concoct for the post-Revolver songs when they don't have a live performance to model it off of. A Day In The Life, in particular, should be interesting.

Gotta wonder if the artists working with the models notice anything, they have to pay attention to minute details. Or is it just that's the way he looked then and then.. and that's just how it is.
It's a fun game, give the cheap PC version a try if you don't partake.. If you love the music, makes it easier and more enjoyable.

I love that trailer, "Octopus Garden" was awesome And for the post revolver, they'll probably use the promo films inspired stuff. I Am The Walrus was clearly inspired by the actual video and the same will probably go for Strawberry Fields, Paperback Writer, Rain and other. MAN I WANT TO PLAY THIS NOW! And the best part is that Expert actually looks easy enough for me to beat! Everyone is complaining about the difficulty but not me, this will be perfect! I'm guessing an easier game is good for you "oldies" as well

New trailer! LOVE, absolutely LOVE the style of the trailer. It gets progressivelt weirder too, the "Here Comes The Sun" section is very "image" heavy

Yeah, I have a strong feeling that the developers are "in" on it. Check out the section where I Am The Walrus begins. The street sign of the English garden says "Tuesday".

Yeah, the sun is very Klaatu-esque (and sets up the scene in the English garden to boot).
This thing will be a bonanza of easter eggs and sight gags.

Wow, there's just soo much refrences in that trailer. Almost every frame has something. All the posters, and the firman in the back, and the "1 and 1 is 2" made me giggle a bit

From the guest section: JoJo, One other thing in the game promo is the hand behind Paul's head on top of the elephant 2:40 at the very end of the video. An elephant never forgets. The elephant is about to walk off the cliff with the Beatles standing on its head.. And as they fly into New York, the coastline has a profile:

Theres no hand behind Pauls head in that pic -.- And the profile, don't see it. I see what you mean but i don't think it was intentional. Do you really think that they would tell one of the biggest secrets in modern music history to some people designing a game trailer? If not the designers were belivers and threw them in for us other belivers And what about those four mysterious dots near the coast that seem to be perfectly aligned?

The coastline part of New York City is not green, so there is perhaps some artistic decision made there. I guess I saw a profile because it reminded me of a rock formation here in NH (now gone, it slid off the mountain) that was called "The Old Man Of The Mountain". (you can Google if curious)
I think the hand is more to the side of Paul's head, and it's probably depicting that hand signal from the Yellow Sub artwork where John gives what some people believe is the "devil sign" or some such..
You don't have to be a believer to be informed of the details involved.. could have thrown them in there for whatever reason.. Could be for shits and giggles.

And as they fly into New York, the coastline has a profile: It's definitely reminiscent of that coastline in the Magical Mystery Tour cartoons. Which has just made me think. Was it Sun King who came up with all those fades with the maps and stuff, what happened with those theories? It seems a lot of hard work and they are surprisingly accurate if they are 100% hoax.

I've got my hands on the retailer "sampler" set that's being sent to certain stores worldwide, and this stuff does sound great. It's amazing how much less muddy everything sounds. The two tracks I've heard from Let It Be (Two Of Us and I've Got A Feeling) tend to be the biggest improvement, but everything is noticeably crisper.

I may have to rethink my belief that game consoles are just for kids.. Huh?! I wasn't aware that there was anyone who still thought that way... You do know that statistically speaking, the average video game player is between the ages 18-35, right? On top of that, I don't think that is very much basis for assuming that because a piece of hardware is designed to play games it is for children. There are some games that are designed exclusively for adult audiences, and others that people of all ages can play. It took a Beatles game for you to realize that game machines aren't kid's toys? I can't recall a time when they ever were (and I can recall playing Pong ( news.filefront.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/pongmachine1.JPG) back in the day!).

Their chronological age doesn't mean those 18-35 year-olds don't have a juvenile mindset.
The infantilization of the West was part of the Tavistock agenda BEATLES were entwined in, after all.

So...anyone got the set yet? Notice any differences? Have they "tweaked" Paul's voice?

So...anyone got the set yet? Notice any differences? Have they "tweaked" Paul's voice? remastered, not remixed. they cleaned up the 2-track master... which basically leaves everything intact.

Here's the mono version of the Sgt. Pepper reprise, where you can actually hear the "really really dead" part that the stereo version buried.
And this guy has posted many of the original mono versions of Beatles singles:
