All the guitar & bass players who glance down at their instrument occasionally play just as much as the Beatles were playing... if not more. This is just kinda silly.
I will agree with ya on one thing FP, JPM is alive. PIA & PWR can & do coexist.

The Paul with Wings looks down at his bass as infrequently as the Paul on Ed Sullivan. www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=kK86yRMhnnk#t=156s

"And "Paul Is Alive" isn't a theory any more than "Elvis is Dead" or "Bigfoot isn't real". It's a fact until proven otherwise.' That might be one of the oddest and squirrel-ly statements I've seen from your posts. Can you guess why? Because it raises the question "why the heck is he wasting his time here??" I just had to address "They also say how PIA is the supreme theory," which doesn't make sense. But I don't want to derail the thread, this isn't about me. It's about Paul's playing, and I think I made a pretty good point about Paul having internalized his parts because of the amount of practice you get from touring. "Because it raises the question "why the heck is he wasting his time here??" No, that's not it. But it's a good question you could ask yourself.

He has a tenacity that eludes his friends at Maccafunhouse who mostly gave up arguing with us here years ago.

Of course not....Never mind... I'm sorry now that I commented on what an exceptional bass player/singer JPM was..... geeeez I didn't mean to be hostile to you EB, it just sounded like you were trying to use Paul's ease to contrast what you perceive to be "Faul's" lesser ability, which I simply don't see. If you want to say what an exceptional bass player he is, go ahead, I agree! What year did JPM start actually playing bass? 1961, though it should be noted that it is NOT as difficult to learn bass if you already play guitar, which he did, since 1956. Any guitarist will support me on that. What year was Ed Sullivan? 1964.Humor us - When did Faul start playing bass? In my opinion, 1961. in your opinion, late 1966.
What years did Wings run? 1971-1981And thanks for putting up with me JoJo - you're pretty darn tolerant!

Hey FP, go to a coffee enthusiast forum and join up. Then, every time you post mention how it makes no sense to have enthusiasm towards coffee, and how you can't believe the other members even drink the stuff.
Make sure they understand how polar opposite you are to the theme of the forum.
I lurk on some, and even though some might disagree about brew methods, etc not one time has anyone posted anything against the theme (and I've probably read hundreds of posts)
If you went there and did as I suggested, I'm confident you'd be deleted as a member, or be on a verrry short leash.
Why - 'cause you'd nakedly expose yourself to them as to what your motive is. Just as you do here. Your purpose isn't to actually contribute, it's to be a contrarian and stir the pot. That's your MO. (yes, you should be glad Jojo is a patient person)
And evidently you've been doing it a long time. Are you bored at home? And given the time span, has your contrarianism tipped into the zone of OCD behavior? I really wonder. Anyway, there are meds and stuff for that.
It's plain for others to see your motivation, but maybe you should ask yourself the deep question as to why my behavior - what drives me to do it. a revelation or two might be a liberating and healthy thingl

Yeah, as much as I disagree about Paul, I stick around because you're "likable & cool. ;D" Looks like this thread is being derailed into it becoming about me - alright, so it's about me now. You're right, it would be completely pointless to just say "I don't see how you believe this, I disagree with your opinion and I shall continue publicly disagreeing for the rest of your (or my) existence." But this is different because claims like "his head is longer," "his playing isn't as good," or "he isn't as good of a songwriter" aren't completely subjective. Especially the first. They're statements that go beyond opinion. And making PWNR comps was fun back in the day, I don't bother making or posting them nowadays, but other members of the Funhouse still continue turning out pretty good ones! I'll tell them you guys said hi, I think they find you guys boring compared to other PWR forums out there that they keep up with. I'm just a big fan of Paul's music (music, not lyrics), so for me, it's more satifying defending his post '66 music rather than going on fan forums where everyone automatically agrees with you on how great he is. "You like Ram? Me too!" How boring. Plus I'd be on all day if I wanted to criticize everything I found that I disagreed with. I used to do that years ago, but JoJo or EB can (happily) let you know how much I've cut back. And since you're so deeply concerned about my mental health, and your idea of me is a guy pacing back and forth thinking about PWR all day, I'll let you know that I actually do have a life. I attend a Liberal Arts college for classical composition during the school year, and am using the summer break to write my third orchestral composition (which will be performed in October), in addition to composing the score to a short film for a friend of a friend. In other words, I keep busy. Hope that helps you all sleep at night.

Well, I for one am glad FP is doing something he enjoys, congrats. And he's right, he's much less of a pain in the butt than he was back in the day. ;D I work at a college in NH as a staff member, I won't be any more specific than that.. I hire students for work study jobs, and let me tell you.. If FP applied for a job here, I would hire him in a heartbeat! Really, a lot of these kids are pretty unmotivated, but FP has shown he will stick with a task no matter how long it takes, heh.
