So, if James looks like a young Bill/Sir Paul - why is that a surprise? Not a surprise that James looks like Paul. What is more surprising is that without a wig, he looks like a woman who has a similar thin nose, beaky from the side, and similar chipmunk cheeks. Yeah, like "Pauline". Oh, no! or Oh yes! I knew a woman who had a nose like that and she had some trouble breathing. invanddis.proboards.com/thread/4682/pearl-witherington-pauline-paul-replacement?page=1

Yes I used to think that James looked like Faul but looking at this video shows he does not look like Faul OR sing like him! He seems like Paul! People comment that he not like his "Father" at all! Interesting! www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSSg6tsVF2Q

Yeah you know, it does seem a little unlikely that they found the perfect replacement, both visually and vocally, in so little time. But also it seems unlikely that Faul is Pauls "brother"... I think that the genius of MacFake is not that he looks like Paul (because he doesn't IMO) it is that people who think he IS Paul THINK he looks like Paul and the people think he is NOT Paul think he looks like Faul! ! Especially when MacFake plays rock and roll he looks NOTHIG like James Paul McCartney in the early 60's IMO! But JAMES McCartney looks and SOUNDS a LOT Paul in the early sixties in my opinion! www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QVhxFl9kGg

No surprise there'd be some resemblance. His father looked a lot like Paul before surgery. With the red hair he looks Scottish.

The young Paul of the Beatles was so good-looking that it would have been real nice if he would have had a son who looked just like him (like George had). And who would also have been a successful recording artist like his father. But this doesn't happen much in the music industry. In this list of famous kids of music-star dads, only a few are really successful: www.billboard.com/photos/428606/music-dads-and-their-famous-kidsNow the real Paul has only one (legitimate) son and he doesn't have dark hair like him. Mary does have dark hair and she looks more like him. But she's a woman, so she's different.

Paul now has six grandsons. Mary has four sons with dark hair and Stella has two sons and two daughters. The oldest, Arthur Alistair Donald, who was 15 in this picture (and who will turn 18 this month) looks rather like Paul. www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2699986/Sir-Paul-McCartneys-grandson-Arthur-Donald-parties-Chiltern-Firehouse.htmlBut he doesn't look as much like the Paul in the cameo (who was one of the many doubles of Beatles times) He looks more like the Paul of the 50s, who was around 15: There are a lot of pictures of Paul McCartney where it is a double. But if you find this guy (with this thin nose, beaky from the side, and these thin eyebrows) in the pictures from 1967 until today, you will know he's alive.

Jai, any skinny guy with a small face, a small nose, rabbit teeth and dark hair looks a little like Paul McCartney. And a blond guy like Tara Browne could put on a dark wig and pass for Paul. But since he was from a wealthy family, it is more likely he is the one who used doubles from a very young age and the Beatles may have learned to do so from him.

Paul and John in "The Quarrymen", years before they were in the Beatles: A little later, George was added: They recorded two songs: the Buddy Holly song "That'll Be the Day" and a simple little song written by Paul and George "In Spite of all the Danger" Paul has been singing it in his shows in the last years: www.google.ca/search?site=&q=mccartney+danger+youtube

Jai, OK, in many pictures, Tara has brown hair, if that is what you mean. This color portrait where he has blond hair stuck more in my mind than the black and white pictures: encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQEWuaDj6s20hmUUYWacxdPjANFfo6KDikQAPSCKq9g3t4YuUyEwAAlso this picture seems rather official: encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSKoiGL7SPd_nsLQYPozUwp9yrp4eOWvnJK5Tj_4UY6m9KNe-zmFwMaybe this is the real Tara, never seen in public, and the other were doubles. Tara Browne could have been one of the replacements in the studio when Paul left briefly in 1964. For Apollo C Vermouth wrote: " A coin, a sheep, a favored son, were welcomed guest when the day was done." He also wrote that Tara did die, like Hyacinthus in the mythology. willemaus.wordpress.com/2015/07/03/apollo-c-vermouth/

First of all, I don't take every word attributed to Apollo C. Vermouth to be absolute gospel, but something to be considered, investigated, and verified. Secondly, it looks to me like a case can be made for young Tara Browne bearing a familial resemblance to young Arthur Alistair Donald McCartney (as much as someone might also try to make a case for him familially resembling Paul McCartney). Thirdly, I don't know why Tara Browne would have used a double before his supposed death. Fourthly, I don't know that wigs were really all that fashionable for men during the sixties, only that ladies did wear them.

Michelle ma belle, it looks like you have found a pretty good match. Seems like the real deal (that can survive even if someone puts a monster closeby). I saw in the Song association thread that you seem to like the Beach Boys. So here's for you a picture of Paul McCartney with Brian Wilson:

Whomever this is but does not look like Sir Paul. This one is "a very good double", as said on the Letterman show: www.youtube.com/watch?v=t23dvnpiLYsHe doesn't have the thin nose and he has a rounder chin. He is very good-looking imo. All the doubles look like Paul and also look unlike him when we look closely at their facial features. That's why there all those websites and videos showing Paul and Faul are not the same person. But there are more than one Faul.

Why is this theory only perpetuated by conspiracy theorists? John Lennon said we can't take a holiday without the world knowing about it. And so called clues do not equate with evidence.

Closer, this is the real Paul at the left and the double that Michelle posted at the right: The real Paul has those peculiar eyebrows, long eyelashes (and again this thin nose). The double has a line above the eyes, rather round eyebrows and a larger chin.

Even before the Beatles had a record deal, they had started using doubles.
They had many bands of different names that were like top 40 hits bands.
The same musician usually play in many of these bands and if one musician is sick or unable to play for whatever reason, he will be replaced by a musician from another band.
The Beatles played nearly all night every night when they had contracts.
So one musician could have a few hours or a day of rest by being replaced by another.
From afar, the replacement only needed to have hair or a wig of the same color as the original one and most people wouldn't even notice there was a replacement.
