It appears that the Search function has stopped working altogether. JoJo, are you able to gripe to proboards about this?

I just tried it with "Paul" and got some hits. I've used it several times this week, including this morning. Hmmmm.

I tried it with "Sgt. Pepper" and got a grand total of 3 hits.

It's still barely working. JoJo wrote: " I just tried it with "Paul" and got some hits." How so? Last I checked it can't be bothered with 4 letter words. update: OK, it seems that now they will let us find 4 letter words, but if you search for anything older than two years old, it takes too long, and the search is terminated.

As I said on another thread, (in this section) if you want to dig deeper time-wise, confine yourself to one board, don't search the entire forum. More work, but likely better results.
For example, the last page of General has a thread about Todd Loren, a good 5 years ago. So, I uncheck all, then check General only.. Put Loren in the search box, then give 2500 days as the amount to dig, and I indeed got the Loren thread. It did give a timeout error message on the first try, and you have to make a series of educated guesses about which board it will be on.. But it works.

Oh yes. I forgot that you had said to do it that way JoJo. Thanks for the reminder.
