Just a quik post to say that, in all this coverage of the death of Michael Jackson, I viewed all his videos on MTV one night and got all foggy and teary eyed about it. WHat a shame.
WHen they showed "Say, Say, Say", as it started, I winced as I never liked the song in the past, but I resolved to watch the whole show, and I must confess I got rather into the video, and the song for the first time, and really really enjoyed it. I have a whole different reception to the song and video now; I am SO glad that both exist, as a artistic contribution made in partnership by Macca and MJ together; I think it is brilliant; and I am sad that there aren't many more such outings by them from the period. I know there is some tie with "The GIrl is Mine", and it's a great song..
I wish there were several more duets between MJ and Macca of a produced calibre as Say Say Say.
Really great stuff. I was an idiot.

In that video to "Say, Say, Say" www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gWvBXS2t4A1. "Paul" dresses up like Aleister Crawley and creates a "fire" to distract the men looking for him and MJ
2. At the end of the video Linda and "Paul" use their arms to form a pyramid above MJ's head precisely when the lyrics say "pray pray pray ... every day".
3. Paul puts a smear of white cream on MJ's face (symbolic come-shot?)
4. MJ's love-interest in the vid is his own SISTER Latoya!
5. Paul hands Linda a bag of cash and says "Go go go where you want" - as if he's paying her off for something
6. At the same time Paul says "Go go go where you want", if you look in the background, you'll see MJ leaving with a trail of boys following behind him

Was that filmed in Dark-o-vision? You left out Mrs. Ensigns orphanage or whatever it was. An ensign is a signal or harbinger. 3. Paul puts a smear of white cream on MJ's face (symbolic come-shot?) More likely an indicator that Michael was eventually going to turn white.

Let me repeat here that "say say say" in Italian (pronounce "sei sei sei"), means 6 6 6.

"You know that what you eat you are, But what is sweet now, turns so sour-- We all know Obla-Di-Bla-Da But can you show me, where you are?.."Obladi = Diablo Oblada = Diabla(?) you can also get " A bola d' diablo" from the Portuguese ( devil's ball/ Glass Onion? lol) but really, I think obladi could stem from the word oblige c.1300, "to bind by oath," from O.Fr. obligier, from L. obligare, from ob "to" + ligare "to bind," from PIE base *leig- "to bind" (see ligament). Main modern meaning "to make (someone) indebted by conferring a benefit or kindness" is from 1560s; be obliged "be bound by ties of gratitude" is from 1540s. Obliging "willing to do service or favors" is attested from 1630s.
and look at :
oblation 1412, from O.Fr. oblation "offering, sacrifice," from L. oblationem (nom. oblatio) "an offering, presenting, gift," in L.L. "sacrifice," from L. oblatus (see oblate (n.)). sort of like meaning " Praise the gods"....life goes on.....BRA!.... ;D

What if it was just a song? Surely that isn't out of the realms of even your sensibility? You read far too much into everything. Try a book- much more fun! The only thing that I agree with in this whole thing is the part abut Digby Chicken-Caesar. Mitchell & Webb for the undeniable win.

I know this isn't a "synch" forum, but this one jumped out at me so I have to add it. This is "Paul" from serbia, and he just died. In other words, Paul is Dead. I saw the "cross" held in his left hand and it reminded me of this video. Patriarch Pavle (Paul) (Serbian: Патријарх Павле, Patrijarh Pavle; 11 September 1914 - 15 November 2009) was the 44th Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church[1], the spiritual leader of Eastern Orthodox Serbs, from 1990 to his death. His full title was His Holiness the Archbishop of Peć, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovci, Serbian Patriarch Pavle. He was the oldest living leader of an Eastern Orthodox church. Due to poor health, he spent his last years in Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, while his duties were carried out by Metropolitan Amfilohije.

Thanks Superman for those six details about the Say video. I've suspected for a while that MJ was both gay and a pedophile. And I'm fairly sure now that JPM is gay or bi. I could be wrong - but maybe not.
Thanks Faullible. I think Say, Say, Say is a well-written, pretty tune but never paid attention to the subtle cues or to the lyrics.
