It seems reasonable that 'Joe' Ephgrave, like everyone else on Pepper, was chosen for his name and/or his reputation/work; the only things we know about Ephgrave are his name and that he worked at fairgrounds midways. Portmanteau of 'fairgrounds midway': fairway. Ephgrave painted the FORE! skin of the drum. (Circumcise that Abram!) The round drum is like a ball; it sits on a 'T', and the 'T' is in the dirt behind a fore-armed doll, she being the fore-most object in the fore-ground. In case you aren't keeping a running tally, that's a fairway and a tee in a FORE! ground with a round ball; the ball bears a title, making it a Titleist, the world's #1 golf ball, (which you would expect from the world's #1 swinging CLUB band). The 'T' is at six o'clock with respect to the drum because, in Wonderland, six o'clock is Mad Hatter tee time. (Incidentally, a caddy is a small box of tea). Dr. Pepper says that ten is at ten, and two is at two, but FORE! is at six, which makes it tee time. As we have seen before, 10-2-6 is when the Pepper band begins, both the BAND and the name of the band: Only a mad HATTER would think of this (or a bottle CAP, or a drum HEAD): "Links", anyone? -j P.S. A cor anglais with a double reed is a two-blow cane.

Ten to six is also 5:5O PM 55 is the number of days that the slain sun "god" stays in the tomb before his resurrection, according to occult tradition. We saw this in practice this year: there were 55 days between the "slaying" (Impeachment) of Brother Billy Blythe Clinton on December 19, 1998, the New Moon of Hanukkah, just before the Winter Solstice, and his "resurrection" (Acquittal) from the Floor of the Senate on February 12, 1999, the birthday of Abraham Lincoln.....except 5:50 is more of a sunrise time.

A cor anglais with a double reed is a two-blow cane. I was standing on the leading edge The Eastern seaboard spread before my eyes "Jump" says Yoko Ono "I'm too scared and too good looking" I cried "Go on", she says, "why don't you give it a try? Why prolong the agony? All men must die" Do you remember Dick Tracy, do you remember Shane? Did you understand the music, Yoko, or was it all in vain? The bitch said something mystical, so I stepped back on the curb again.

PyromaniaBilly's Got a Gun "Oh he was locked inside a room without a door His innocence he suffered for In a world of black and white, they were wrong and he was right Just looking for a clue, it's a nightmare come true" "Then a scream rang out like thunder, but the lightning was too late As the rain came down on the crimson ground **It was the hand of fate And a crowd of people gathered round, but Billy couldn't wait" What's the new Mary Janie's Got a Gun "They say when Janie was arrested They found him[/b] underneath a train" "They say the spell that he was under The lightning and the thunder knew that someone had to stop the rain" "Long as I remember The rain been comin' down. Clouds of myst'ry pourin' Confusion on the ground. Good men through the ages, Tried to find the sun; And I wonder, still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain." "Caught up in the fable, I watched the tower grow. Five year plans and new deals, Wrapped in golden chains." **I was standing in line with my friend, Mr. Jimmy. And man, did he look pretty ill. We decided that we would have a soda, My fav'rite flavor was cherry red. I sing this song to my friend, Jimmy, And he said one word to me and that was "dead."I saw her today at the reception. In her glass was a bleeding man. She was practised at the art of deception; I could tell by her blood-stained hands.
