just saw this, and got the shivers for a number of reasons. I would love some explanations, but all i got is This for those that don't know who was Lew GradeWhat was he doing there? Here it is: Oh yes, I would LOOOVE to believe that. Unfortunately they guy on the far left is the same guy on the far right. Look at that that pimple on his left (our right). Look at the lips. Also - now I'm gonna REALLY step in it - WHO THE FUCK IS (Ralph) ELLIS? That's exactly the kind of D&D mindset that gives ammunition for people to make fun at PID/PWR. For that matter - Who is Phil Ackrill? Why not "Edwardo Aquarelle", if we're already at it? I Think the Mal Evans replacement (what, didn't you know? He was ALSO replaced!) is called Sheldon Manashevitch, and was originally a Hasidic jeweler from Golders Green, which is why nobody recognized him later. Proof? the outtake "Golders Green" by Harrison clearly depicts him going to a Sabbath-diner at Fal's (fake Mal's) real family. Speaking of which, "Faul" I can somehow accept, as it is USEFUL - to us. I don't believe for a moment that's really how the Beatles called him. TKIN was a cool site as a chilling look-behind-you story. It was nice to re-think some of the old "canonized" ideas about what happened. Somehow, this has became a canon on it's own - just like "William Campbell". Sorry. That is John performing, and I tend to believe he THINKS he's making a statement. sigh The problem with Lew Grade is that the same guy who robbed the Beatles of their work is also partly responsible with giving us The Prisoner and The Muppet Show - in a way. I HOPE That's why John was there.

"TKIN was a cool site as a chilling look-behind-you story. It was nice to re-think some of the old "canonized" ideas about what happened." I'm sure there's still something more to be found at TKIN - if you look around a little

Here's a link to that video iameye posted of Johnny in his prison suitipuffin wrote: Liked it, did ya? Lou Christie is quite unforgettable, and that song will embed itself into your memory and emerge at the most unexpected moments! ;D Have you heard "Lightning Strikes"? It was a hit in early 1966, just about the time of the alledged PID car "accident" and disappearance. ("I can't stop! I can't stop!") If only his car could talk, eh? Lou Christie is positively eerie in his apparent 'anticipation' of PID. Then he went on to work for Buddah Records ( wouldn't ya just know it?!) with its likely links to Montauk. "After being dropped by MGM and an unfruitful stint with Columbia Records in the late 1960s, Christie teamed up with Buddah Records (a move prompted by his business manager Stan Polley) and bubblegum music record producer Tony Romeo and had a surprise Wall of Sound constant uptempo hit "I'm Gonna Make You Mine" (which Romeo wrote) in the early autumn of 1969. Helped by two promotional videos distinctly different from each other, the song peaked at #10 in the U.S. but across the Atlantic climbed to #2 on the UK Singles Chart and thus became his biggest hit there.
A follow up, "She Sold Me Magic" charted only in the UK, peaking at #25..." LOU CHRISTIE - BEYOND THE BLUE HORIZON www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSrYIfMMoRwMichael Nesmith - Beyond The Blue Horizon www.youtube.com/watch?v=J55Cd5zGfEcSmall world, isn't it?www.youtube.com/watch?v=fY6BhlbiqwU

PLEASE, don't forget: I mean, what kind of a sick twisted world do we live in, where rubbish such as "Pepper" is endlessly praised, and a true masterpiece such as THIS is relegated to the outskirts of history... This thread is getting weirder by the post, And if you look back at those pictures you'll agree with me that's no small achievement. Let's keep it up!

Stop it! Just stop using that Imagine Logo in every post....please....If you examine it in a mirror, on your head, after listening to "Lightnin' Strikes" 50 times....you may be able to understand the all seeing eye is watching YOU and if you don't watch out, you'll get sucked into the spiral of death that is awaiting the next victim.
Oh, thanks for the I Love Onions....how hideous...but then she may have been looking through a glass onion before writing that song....
I remember all of the songs that were mentioned, Lighting Strikes, Two Faces Have I, I'm Gonna Make you Mine and I Love Onions....if you sniff enough onions, maybe you'll find PID clues in all of these tunes....anything recorded in 1966 has to do with PID...even the Ferrante and Teisher greatest Hits as well as Percy Faith Orchestra....I believe Lawrence Welk knew about PID as well....
Shoot, they ALL knew.....even Captain Kangaroo....goo goo ga joob!

Ralph Ellis...Ralph Ellis...you don't know Ralph Ellis? He was part of the phenomenal group the Swinging Blue Jeans, who recorded the epic "Hippy Hippy Shake", which was a wonderful, memorable recording...maybe surpassing Sgt Pepper by lightyears..... He was believed to be a Lennon replacement in the late 60's. Which he looks more like a Fake Lennon than Charlie Brill. If ever there was a Lennon imposter, Ralph would have been a likely choice, since trying to research about Ralph, nothing else is spoken about him after ...you guessed it...1966! And the facial shape of Ralph to the latter day Lennon....makes you wonder. That latter day Lennon does not look like the real John.... I swear, there was a musical planet X that hit earth in 1966....everything you thought was something was not as it seemed....Paul was replaced...and so was John.....Ralph stepped in... Hmmmm And remember....someone had the idea Don Knotts replaced Brian Epstein.....and then Maurice Buckmaster..... Phil Ackrill, Pearl Witherington....where do they come up with these things?? Methinks either radiation, or very potent medical maryjane...
