Perhaps in the song "Help!" John is making a reference to William Blake and Aldous Huxley when he sings the line, "Now I find I've changed my mind, I've opened up the doors." Does he mean altered his mind with drugs? And opened the doors of perception?

well, if you insist.... those radical swedenborgian heads. im interested in early examples of marijuana psychosis as well. jerry tiger claw. jerry garcias tiger claw guitar lineages. moorish hashish probably changed a lot of lives. im not saying the witch trials were the first acid tests then again... no even then there must be earlier examples. the 1600s are recent history. as mr fomenko tells us in his opus the 3rd century and the 13th centuries were the same. the jesuit priests placed their recent history into the distant past. christ was in fact born in 1000 a.d. and the old testament describes the history of the byzantine empire. the catholic church didnt actually exist until the 1300s. consider when they banned bacchanals. witch cults in eestern europe eere the native people of europe. satan! it was during the 1600 history was rewritten. as john todd said in salem the only one killed were the ones that werent witches.
