iameye wrote: uh, foxes move way faster than that, sister; twin talkNow that you mention it, though, I had a friend who had been to the Cayce Foundation in Virginia Beach, and was gifted with copies of some of his works while there. The staff felt that she was someone who would possibly find them useful, so when she got back to Scranton, she decided to coerce some of her friends into an Edgar Cayce study group. I was among those who were corraled into the deal. There were about three or four of us who were regular attendees. Now, for those who don't know, Edgar Cayce's use of the English language while he was "under" was a very flowery mid-1800 style of prose, which was a bit much to take for us in the mid 1990s, so we often got side - tracked during the meetings. We asked her how it was that the staff at the Cayce Foundation felt motivated to donate some copies of Cayce's works to her, and she said, "Well, I'm not supposed to tell anyone this, but they said I was the reincarnation of some Russian psychic woman named Helen Blavatsky." I nearly fell out of my chair, and she looked at me and said, "Oh, do you know something about her?" I explained to the group (who had no clue) that it was like saying she had been Abraham Lincoln or maybe someone like John the Baptist in a previous life. Certainly I had not thought of her in those terms, but her fondness for cigarettes and even her appearance did seem to suggest the possibility. Also she had formidable psychic ability. She could look at you and tell you who you had supposedly been in previous lives. Looking at me, she said "Your name was Mary K----- J-----, and you lived at 127 Birchwood Street (or whatever it was) just outside of Dublin. You raised horses." And she would know if you had children, were married, etc. And then she could tell you other people you had been. She called it 'scrolling'. She saw 911 happening time and time again before it happened, but she never could pin it down. She would say, "I see a plane. It's flying over a city. And it's hitting a building." We would say, "Well, can you tell where this is; what city?" "I don't know. It might be New York. I don't know." We would say, "Well can you see anything like the Empire State Building?" "I don't know what that looks like. I've never been to New York." She saw the vision so often, that it actually became a joke to us. We would assume her pose, and say, "I see a plane..." just to kid with her, and then we would all laugh. We had no idea what a big deal it would turn out to be. Probably she had some notion of it, but she would laugh at us mimicking her. She died before 911 occurred. You look back on things, and wonder what would have been different if you really knew. You think, "I could have prevented it from happening!", but you couldn't have. I mean, "a plane hits a building". So? I would hope to be a bit more awake these days, but..... Anyway, I brought all of this up because just maybe it has something to do with this thread. Or maybe it's just a way of saying that - at least in a previous life - I may have been a woman. Now that I have your attention Home, to the Place of Sweet Surrender! One thing I've noticed that's just a little bit weird is how musicians sometimes seem to just know about stuff ahead of time. Eden Ahbez writing a song called " Nature Boy" in 1947 which seemed to anticipate Paul McCartney (who was five at the time) is one example. Then you have Johnny Cash, who in 1963 started his career with a huge hit called "Ring of Fire". You don't even have to play the video below to see an image that's become quite familiar to us here at NIR-PWR. Ring of Fire Johnny Cashwww.youtube.com/watch?v=mIBTg7q9oNcthe lyrics tell the story: Love Is A Burning Thing And It Makes A Fiery Ring Bound By Wild Desire I Fell Into A Ring Of Fire
CHORUS: I Fell Into A Burning Ring Of Fire I Went Down, Down, Down And The Flames Went Higher
And It Burns, Burns, Burns The Ring Of Fire The Ring Of Fire(etc.) In other words, he fell down the rabbit hole! Look at the "Eye of God" nebula in iameye's post above, and you can sort of see up the rabbit hole, right? Blue sky above the rabbit hole, surrounded by a kind of firey area where the hole is that Johnny Cash fell into, and where we are as we are looking up. So that's pretty good, for a guy in 1963, writing about a worm hole, or a rabbit hole, or whatever, at a time when no one knew about such things! How did he know?! Well, he didn't. According to his first wife: ""The truth is, Johnny wrote that song, while pilled up and drunk, about a certain private female body part..."
"The song was originally recorded by June's sister, Anita Carter, on her Mercury Records album Folk Songs Old and New (1963) as "(Love's) Ring of Fire". Mercury released Anita's version as a single and it was a featured 'pick hit' in Billboard magazine.
After hearing Anita's version, Cash claimed he had a dream where he heard the song accompanied by "Mexican horns". Cash allowed some time for Anita's song to catch on, stating: "I'll give you about five or six more months, and if you don't hit with it, I'm gonna record it the way I feel it." When the song failed to become a major hit for Anita, Cash recorded it his own way, adding the mariachi-style horns..."The funny thing is, Johnny Cash was kind of in the role of "the guy who fell" his whole life. He dressed in black. Was notorious for being a drug - abuser. Kind of a poster boy for it, actually. Spent some time in jail, more than once. And then, at the end of his life, he has one more huge hit just before he dies: Johnny Cash Hurt www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmVAWKfJ4Gowhere he tells everyone that they can have his "empire of dirt"! "You could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt" Now of course, some of you will know that song as a "Nine Inch Nails" song sung by Trent Reznor on an album called - interestingly - The Downward Spiral! And we'll get to that shortly, because that story is just a little bit weird too! But Trent Reznor didn't die right after he had a hit with his version of it! I hurt myself today, to see if I still feel. I focus on the pain, the only thing that's real. The needle tears a hole, the old familiar sting. Try to kill it all away, but I remember everything. What have I become? My sweetest friend. Everyone I know, goes away in the end. And you could have it all, my empire of dirt.
I will let you down, I will make you hurt.
I wear this crown of thorns, upon my liar's chair. Full of broken thoughts, I cannot repair. Beneath the stains of time, the feelings disappear. You are someone else. I am still right here.
What have I become? My sweetest friend. Everyone I know, goes away in the end. And you could have it all, my empire of dirt.
I will let you down. I will make you hurt.
If I could start again, a million miles away. I would keep myself. I would find a way.On one level, a song about drug addiction, but on another, the words of "the fallen one" about his "empire of dirt". He is earthbound, and "everyone I know, goes away in the end" when they die. He tries to "kill it all away, but (he) remembers everything". Then he asks, "What have I become?" On the level of this being the song of "the fallen one", the 'everything' he remembers goes waaaaaay back. And what he has become is nothing like he wass. But then of course: Love Is A Burning Thing And It Makes A Fiery Ring (see nebula picture again) If you can fall down the rabbit hole, can you "fall up" it as well? Maybe spiral up, you know? The short answer is 'yes'. With a little help from your friends. (more to come)

I would be remiss if I didn't devote some space to the Nine Inch Nails version of "Hurt". Nine Inch Nails - Hurt (Live: Beside You In Time) (Explicit) www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvJKVKglIRsNine Inch Nails - Hurt With Lyricswww.youtube.com/watch?v=prDoGmY5kj8"The Downward Spiral is the second studio album by American industrial rock act Nine Inch Nails, released March 8, 1994, on Interscope Records. It is a concept album detailing the destruction of a man, from the beginning of his 'downward spiral' to his climactic attempt at suicide.... Co-produced by Trent Reznor and Flood, the album's concept was written after the Pretty Hate Machine Tour Series concluded in 1991. Reznor and Flood moved to 10050 Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills, California the following year, where The Downward Spiral was recorded. It was influenced by various records like David Bowie's Low (1977) and Pink Floyd's The Wall (1979)..... "Initially, Reznor was to record the album in New Orleans, but due to financial duties, he changed his mind... For $11,000 per month, he rented the house located at 10050 Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills, California, where actress Sharon Tate was murdered by members of the Manson Familyin 1969, on July 4, 1992. Reznor purchased several musical instruments and production equipment, and built a studio space in the house which he named "Le Pig", after the message that was scrawled on the front door with Tate's blood by her murderers. Despite the notoriety attached to the house, he chose to record there, since he 'looked at a lot of places, and this just happened to be the one' he found most interesting. Along with his former manager, John Malm, Jr., Reznor stayed in there for 18 months..." "One of Reznor's last visits to the "Le Pig" house occurred in December 1993. On that day, he was confronted by Patti Tate, who questioned, "Are you exploiting my sister's death by living in her house?" Reznor responded, "No, it's just sort of my own interest in American folklore. I'm in this place where a weird part of history occurred." He later made a statement about one of his final days at working in the Tate house during a 1997 interview with Rolling Stone: While I was working on [The] Downward Spiral, I was living in the house where Sharon Tate was killed. Then one day I met her sister [Pattie Tate]. It was a random thing, just a brief encounter. And she said: 'Are you exploiting my sister's death by living in her house?' For the first time, the whole thing kind of slapped me in the face. I said, 'No, it's just sort of my own interest in American folklore. I'm in this place where a weird part of history occurred.' I guess it never really struck me before, but it did then. She lost her sister from a senseless, ignorant situation that I don't want to support. When she was talking to me, I realized for the first time, 'What if it was my sister?' I thought, 'F*ck Charlie Manson.' I went home and cried that night. It made me see there's another side to things, you know? After the album's recording, Reznor moved out and the house was demolished shortly thereafter... "A companion remix album, Further Down the Spiral, was released in 1995. tracks: 1. "Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now)" 4:02 2. "The Art of Self Destruction, Part One" 5:41 3. "Self Destruction, Part Three" 3:28 4. "Heresy (Version)" 5:19 5. "The Downward Spiral (The Bottom)"7:28 6. "Hurt (Live)" 5:07 7. "At the Heart of It All" 7:14 8. "Ruiner (Version)"5:35 9. "Eraser (Denial; Realization)"6:33 10. "Self Destruction, Final" 9:52 11. "Reptilian" (Japanese edition only, from "March of the Pigs" single) ------------- "Nine Inch Nails (abbreviated as NIN...) is an American industrial rock project, founded in 1988 by Trent Reznor in Cleveland, Ohio. As its main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Reznor is the only official member of Nine Inch Nails and remains solely responsible for its direction.... Reznor said in 1994 that he coined the name "Nine Inch Nails" because it "abbreviated easily", rather than for "any literal meaning". Other rumored explanations have circulated, alleging that Reznor chose to reference Jesus' crucifixion with nine-inch spikes, or Freddy Krueger's nine-inch fingernails...." Are you exploiting my sister's death by living in her house? Some thoughts on the house of horrors. Everyone knows about the door at the Spahn Ranch with the words " Helter Scelter is coming down fast" written on it, by now. That, and the curious reference to the childrens' rhyme: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 — ALL GOOD CHILDREN (Go to Heaven?)"are a curiousity, particularly given that the latter phrase was used in the Abbey Road album which the Manson family presumably had not heard prior to its release. (A full explanation of the Manson family's take on the meaning of "Helter Skelter" can be found at this link:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helter_Skelter_(Manson_scenario)
It makes for fascinating reading.)But I have felt that there has to be more to the story than just that, particularly after seeing the Rotten Apple videos 7, 25, and 66,6. Why was iamaphoney making such a big deal of it? I mean, sure it was bad, but.... I think that perhaps John, and some others as well, were expecting Sharon Tate's baby to be the reincarnation of the Paul who had died in a car crash. As you can see, the baby was going to have been named Paul: And that would give some context to the outburst described in the passage below: " It also appears that John Lennon knew the director (Roman Polanski) personally. ["The Director of Rosemary’s Baby was Roman Polanski."] (At a party in California in 1973, Lennon ‘went berserk, hurling a chair out the window, smashing mirrors, heaving a TV against the wall, and screaming nonsense about film director Roman Polanski being to blame’ – Giuliano)"" If John had felt that he was responsible in any way for Paul's death, but had been expecting that Paul would be reborn as Sharon Tate's baby, then the Manson family's killing of both mother and child would have been a terrible blow to his hopes for Paul's reincarnation. What is particularly horrible about this situation is that Sharon Tate was the last to die, and was aware of the murder and mayhem occuring before her demise. " Susan Atkins [Sadie] had stated that Sharon Tate had been the last to die because, “She had to watch the others die.” By all accounts, Tate died in excruciating fear and agony. Bugliosi gives Atkins’ account: she was holding Sharon Tate at the time and, “Tex came back and he looked at her and he said, ‘Kill her.” And I killed her… And I just stabbed her and she fell, and I stabbed her again. I don’t know how many times I stabbed her…” Sharon begged for the life of her baby, but Atkins told her, “Shut up. I don’t want to hear it.”But why would John have felt that Roman Polanski was to blame for Sharon Tate's death? " So why was Sharon Tate chosen to die? My feeling is that Roman Polanski made a pact with the Hollywood coven. This was an exchange for his child so that he be given fame and success. He was a nobody movie director till he was handed a script that would make him an instant success. So why give a major script to a basically unknown director and not a well established director? Why is because of his agreed sacrificial offering that would have to be made in the future. Manson would be the grocery clerk coming for the payment of the bill." Of course, it goes even deeper than that.

God said, 'Here is the sign of the Covenant I make between myself and you and every living creature with you for all generations: I set my rainbow in the clouds and it shall be a sign of the Covenant between me and the earth." (Genesis 9:12-13) You'll notice that "There are seven levels".
