Oh, the fear and turmoil in Central Pa with the recent noreaster. Some of the reporters called it the strange "winter" storm....no, it's not a "winter" storm because it's happening in Spring... So it's really a spring snowstorm.... There was a band of snow reported to be 12" - 18" in Western Pa, Western NY and West Virginia....then in my area it was 1-3" and then 5-8" the next day..which would have been today. I work in a grocery store and you should have seen the crazed masses rushing to the store to get milk, eggs, bread, ice tea and toilet paper.....yes folks, buy up, you'll be buried under the snow and will not get out so make sure you get all of that junk food to eat while the snowflakes fall.... Really? Not one flake on the ground, last night, this morning nor this afternoon. Where was this 11" that we were told by the experts on the WEATHER CHANNEL? ? Oh the high tech capabilities to forecast weather....and the masses going out for all food..... The only shoveling that was needed was to dig out from underneath the panic, the bull and the stupidity.... Though there were places that got that heavy wet type of snow, it was nasty in the higher elevations, but I'm lucky Tunatown is in a valley, sandwiched between two mountain ranges, but not part of the bad snow. I guess it's a good thing I'm a "valley girl".....

Ah, but it helped business, didn't it? We weren't scheduled to get any snow here, and we didn't, but I was concerned since the trees and the birds think it's July already, and - heck - I should have planted the tomatoes in February! Well you know what they say: "April showers bring May snowstorms". (OK, it's the "wooly bears" who say that.) What do I know? I just put the snow shovel in the cellar last week, so tada! the weather people say there's a snowstorm! It was so obvious... I knew I shouldn't have done that, but my neighbor was filling his swimming pool, and I guess I just got carried away.

Perhaps your neighbor could have the snow "trucked" in from Western Pa to "fill" his pool....
Only use the shovels to shovel the BULL that is being flung....being that we are into "primary" season....and for that we are being snowed under by that BULL!
Aaah, but that's another subject....such as another subject of bizarre reality show ideas such as
"Transvestites and Tiaras"
"Who wants to be the Next Pope?"
"I Thought I was Pregnant, But it turned out to be GAS"
"So You Think You Can Polka?"
"The Next Baby for Angelina"
Bad ideas for "reality" programming.....
and last, but certainly not least.....under the heading of shovelling the bull, "Who wants to be the Next President?"
