I'm sorry.... I really like this guy's work, but this "revelation" is absolute bullshit.
I can understand, that if he is telling the truth about being threatened with lawsuits and cease-and-desist letters, he is probably a bit intimidated. However, acting in the capacity of a JOURNALIST, he does have a certain amount of protection against this. Especially if:
1- He actually has some kind of real solid evidence. Reporting on evidence found in a truthful manner is legal.
2- He is careful to use a disclaimer saying the opinions and views are his own, and are his own personal CONCLUSIONS.
Anything else is BS-- either him being scared, being a liar, or being dramatic.
He also could have said something about all these legal threats sooner than 18 hours ago.
The case for IAAP being a real source of information is starting to look bad.
