To be correct though, all three questions must be answered.

Re: This only answers the question "What is this?" Two more to be answered. To answer your question Jess, the prize is that we all get to have some fun and learn something on this forum, instead of this: I didn't mean to insinuate that I am the only one who has made significant contributions here. After I read my post I see that it comes off that way. I am here because of the hard work that a lot of the members have put in, most of them more knowledgeable, and skilled than I. I consider myself a n00b here. I am humbled and grateful to be part of this forum. I do realise that most of you have put more time, and hard work into this forum than I have. I was just commenting on how all the ego gratifying nonsensical posts get in the way of that. If you know what I mean.... Oh and I didn't mean this post by Jessbottles: someone's probably posted something like this on the boards sometime in the many years... but, thought i'd go anyway... I found it very helpful.

I hope I don't get sued by The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers for using their logo as my avatar, as I am not a member. LOL

Next we are going to move on to something that I think is interesting and maybe significant. I am going to start a new thread titled "Strange vinyl=Unfound clues?"

Now the question is; why are the Scranton discs stamped with the I A M triangle, of all things?

"But, if you look hard enough, you will find a rational, real world explanation, of what it is and why it's on Beatles albums."Woah, wait... Have we done that? Was does the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, based in Georgia, have to do with vinyl record production in PA?

What I find interesting that the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers should be abbreviated IAMAW. Seems like they went out of their way to make it IAM. And to put it in a triangle, no less.
Why not put IAMAW in a circle, or something?
But, it could be nothing.

But in the winged image, you kind of read it as "AIM": In any case, it is a winged disk: Horus Behdety - The Winged Diskwww.gks.uk.com/Horus-Behdety-Winged-Disk/"...the winged disk was venerated as Horus Behdety and was in fact the 'son of Re,' a totally separate deity to Re. To the ancient Egyptians the winged disk was yet another form of the god Horus. He was known as Horus Behdety, Horus of Behdet... As with the majority of Horus forms , many Pharaohs were believed to be the incarnation of Horus Behdety... So wherever you see an image of the winged disk you are looking at Horus Behdety, not Re or Ra, but Horus Behdety... And, as I contend, a totally separate entity (or manifested body) to the Sun. ....And Horus Behdety flew up into the horizon in the form of the great Winged Disk, for which reason he is called Great God, Lord of Heaven, unto this day. " linus wrote: Seems like they went out of their way to make it IAM.Yep. It does seem that way.

Po' Edward Elgar! looking Pepperesque"At twenty-two he took up the post of conductor of the attendants' band at the Worcester and County Lunatic Asylum in Powick, three miles from Worcester."
"Another post he held in his early days was professor of the violin at the Worcester College for the Blind Sons of Gentlemen." August Jaeger, Elgar's publisher and friend, and "Nimrod" of the Enigma Variations"In November 1931, Elgar was filmed by Pathé for a newsreel depicting a recording session of Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 at the opening of EMI's Abbey Road Studios in London. It is believed to be the only surviving sound film of Elgar, who makes a brief remark before conducting the London Symphony Orchestra, asking the musicians to "play this tune as though you've never heard it before." A memorial plaque to Elgar at Abbey Road was unveiled on 24 June 1993."enigma/publius mystery "At the age of forty-two, Elgar produced the Enigma Variations, which were premiered in London under the baton of the eminent German conductor Hans Richter. In Elgar's own words, "I have sketched a set of Variations on an original theme. The Variations have amused me because I've labelled them with the nicknames of my particular friends ... that is to say I've written the variations each one to represent the mood of the 'party' (the person) ... and have written what I think they would have written – if they were asses enough to compose". He dedicated the work "To my friends pictured within". Probably the best known variation is "Nimrod", depicting Jaeger.... "The work is formally titled Variations on an Original Theme; the word "Enigma" appears over the first six bars of music, which led to the familiar version of the title. The enigma is that, although there are fourteen variations on the "original theme", there is another overarching theme, never identified by Elgar, which he said "runs through and over the whole set" but is never heard....
