This is a thread for any PID/PWR'ers who have been to the Macca Madhouse to post their thoughts about it. Any MMH'ers please leave, I just may offend you a bit.
Personally, I wouldn't mind MMH IF they were a little more respectful towards us there. Instead, they have chosen to scorn us and make fun of our beliefs (most of them do). This is not going to win them any points from me. The only part of their board I like is the writing board, I like some of their Beatles parodies. And the ironic part of it all is they have a topic there specifically saying that we are free to join, and they'll try to respect or points of view, and some do, but most don't.
Sorry for that, I tried to be civilized about it. Peace and Love, George

Well...there's been trouble in the past but I have appeared to have been accepted there this time, having recently joined after the sudden demise of Maccabackyard.
Yeah, they give us a hard time but I'm not cut up about it like I use to be. Maybe I've learned to develop a thick skin.
Revolver has also been over there a while and seems to be coping fine...so far!

I'd love to, but since I'm under 18 I'd have to get parental permission and I'm too shy to ask my mom. Hmm does the registration ask for parental permission? Anyway, we don't require it, but I suppose you're a good kid for respecting your parents rules. Terms of Service

Ah OK thanks Kahn. I actually tested out registering with an under 18 birthday on a test board I have, and don't recall any prompt regarding parental permission. You and I know most kids would just click "yes" without giving it a second thought regardless, hence my remarking that she is a good kid..

I'm sorry, I just had to vent. I will not go there anymore, but I didn't know they were so unfriendly before I went. You guys should be glad I edited my post before I put it up so it wasn't attacking anyone at MMH, as it was quite nasty originally.
Lock this topic if it gets out of control, mods.
Peace and love, George

FP, I don't have an account there and don't think I need after what I've seen people there post. I'm not going to look at that forum again because it'll just offend me again. Maybe I'm too touchy and I realize they're not attacking anyone by name, but to me they just in general seem a bit unfriendly towards PID/PWR'ers.
Peace, love, and apologies, George P.S: I need to join NIR, I sure post here more than I've posted at other forums and I'm not even a member yet.

Hold on, what was your name on MFH? I don't think anyone would purposely insult you. Ya might want to rethink this FP. After all, Mc3 doesn't mind insulting us.... in our own place.... when he's a guest! And you don't seem to have a problem with that. So considering how things go when you're a guest, why would anybody expect y'all to be civil with any of us when y'all are "at home"? I certainly wouldn't expect it.

Well I'll be! We don't insult all PIDers just some who are off the wall nuts! Sometimes we even feel sorry for them Heck, PIDMH WilliamCampbell came to MFH and just tore us to bits! Raram came and tore us to bits!
We at MFH try o be nice to PIDers who don't act like jerks to us.

Of course the term PIDer is a misrepresentation. I don't ever want to slight any of the real PIDer's here. But I, for one, think JPM is alive & well & releasing music... The Fireman, C&C, among others.
But for y'all to insist there was never a replacement is just plain silly.

I don't get it. How is it plain silly to believe that he never was replaced?
When and where exactly do you think he was replaced?

You can keep it short, but please, i am very interested how somebody who doesn't believe that PID, believes that he was once replaced.... What makes you think that?

For the exact same reasons you think he wasn't replaced. It's all been said before. Furthermore Paul was not so special that he couldn't have had a publicly announced death had that actually been the case. Celebs/musicians die all the time, without the need to "cover" for their death with lyrical clues and such.

To me, all of the anecdotal stories, rumors, album clues, visual and audio evidence support the theory that Paul died and was replaced by one person who is still with us today. Everyone's entitled to their different opinions of course. The only theory I can't believe is that today's Paul is the original JPM.

What makes you think that? Well, I barely have the time to just check in around here occasionally. Starting this debate all over again & posting the same old comparisons just isn't gonna happen from me, maybe somebody else will jump in. I used to be solid PID but changed my mind a few years ago. The reasons for that are too numerous to list right now. The one & only thing that's clear is that JPM had a replacement. Everything else is guess work & opinion, but the tall guy on the cover of Sgt.P & the greasy guy in MMT look nothing like JPM from '66. There are no similarities between the 2. Just forget everything you've been told & open your eyes for yourself without all the "fog". That's all right in front of you Is PID or PWR correct? I don't know, but I've come to my own conclusions. This probably isn't the reply you were looking for.
