Just thought I would create a thread concerning the (fake) moustaches... Beatles Monthly January 1967 and they clearly want you to know that taches are in, except for George. It would appear that John had indeed decided to grow a tache by January 1967 gathering from this magazine cover... February 1967; it's no false rumour but it is big news... but wait, does George have a tache or not? By the early summer of 67 the fickle tides of fashion had changed and Paul shaved his off on May 5, 1967, and John shaved his on June 8, 1967. A picture taken the next day proves it.

I'll put this in the Moustaches All Around thread, though it also kind of belongs to the Mal Evans Nairobi Adventure. Daily Express21st November 1966 (MONDAY) mistaken.bmp (55.74 KB) A little hard to read, but it says: SHORT-HAIR PAUL FOOLS THE FANS NAIROBI. Sunday Beatle fans crowded round the young man at Nairobi Airport nine days ago (making it the 11th) But he waved them away saying: "I'm not Paul McCartney, but I'm sometimes mistaken for him." But tonight the secret came out after Beatle paul - his hair cropped and sporting a moustache flew back to London from an undisturbed safari holiday. "We were all sworn to secrecy" said a travel firm spokesman.

it's a fake mustache (interesting that the intro has John, Ringo & George running around, with Paul separated from the group and in disguise).Help! Ich! When Paul is asked if his grandfather can talk, Paul replies, "Of course he can talk, he's a human being isn't he?" Ringo then says, "Well, if he's your grandfather who knows, hahaha." Mopeds, Moustaches and Minis (coopers) as a blog I wrote says -- M M M Oh My. They keep planting those over and over again, suggestions, pointers, triggers. Who "They" are remains in question. And we all know the news can make news out of nothing. But the Three M's keep turning up like they're on a rotisserie. It will come as no suprise to anyone that the source for these 'triggers' is the wonderful Beatles Monthly Magazine. In this case the January 1967 edition. January 1967 being, of course, the edition immediately prior to the 'False Rumour' and 'Moustaches All Round' articles. Curious also that even in 1967 they are still plugging the 'True Story of the Beatles' penned of course by Billy Shepherd, aka Neil Aspinall, and reiterating that it is "The Only True Story Of The Beatles' Struggles and Fantastic Rise to Fame" despite the fact that this book must be 3 or 4 years old by then!

Beetle Killer Paul and Anyface Paul in car, losing control, driving off pier rip mac white on white Wait a minute. The Yesterday and Today album - featuring Paul in a suitcase - was released in June 1966. Which means the PID clue is either preconceived or entirely accidental. My gut and instincts tell me PRE-CONCEIVED. Because on Beatles for Sale, inside gatefold, you have McCartney's head right next to a still from It Takes a Thief, which featured Jayne Mansfield in the one film she did at Twickenham Studios. She portrays a character named Billie. 1967, she "loses" her head in a car accident. Preconceived. Sir Walter Raleigh

Also once again in that gatefold, holding cigarette in right hand (always PAUL)... I find the graveyard animation scene chilling: what can that mean? Holding a gun to Paul's head also....I find many of these pictures disturbing. And the four Ringos speaks for itself.

So, okay. Let us consider a few implications of pre-1966 PID clues.
Dead or alive, JPM was replaced or doppelganged prior to 1966, for ... esoteric, artistic, commercial or occult purposes. This being orchestrated by the Beatles themselves, or their 'handlers' i.e. any concerned parties or 'entities', with the proximity and/or ability to exert influence over the Fab 3-4.
Which wasn't always difficult. The Beatles were both incredibly astute and niaive on occassion, and once gave a man in their entourage named 'Magic Alex', a Greek TV repairman, £1,000,0000 to build a working UFO. However, Alex's swift disappearance, and theft, would prove to be his ultimate legacy.
But that said, 1966-7 was an apparent watershed. The Beatles stopped touring. Aspinall died. Paul switched his hair-parting - reminiscent of the Clark Kent - Superman alterego, and psychdelia was born - and did the Ashers and Yoko enter the scene, at this date?

Do you know something we don't? The Ashers were on the scene since 1963. The only thing I am sure of is that the Beatles wanted us to believe and accept a false history and from 1969 wanted us to believe the PID myth. Everything else is speculation.

Mal Evans died in January 1976; Neil Aspinall died March 2008 age 66. Yoko came on the scene November 1966; the Ashers were still on the scene (had been since 1963) but by 1969 Jane and Paul had "broken off their engagement" and Richard Asher committed suicide. Peter Asher went on to become a top record producer/mogul in Los Angeles. ...

Now this addition truly belongs in the Terry Knight Inside Man thread, but is also relevant here.
If you go to the history of Terry Knight and Grand Funk Railroad, you'll find a man who ripped off the band he "made" to the tune of millions of dollars. He sued them for $57 million in fact when they broke their contract (I think in 1973, possibly.) And Knight made great note to say had they just waited 3 months, their contract was ending with him anyway. Thing is, Grand Funk Railroad probably didn't even know when their contract ended with Knight, hence feeling they were forced into breaking it with him.
They were basically leased to Capitol Records through Knight, they did not have a contract persay with Capitol Records. They were on loan through Knight's management. This all goes to say that Knight, no matter how disillusioned he may have been about Saint Paul, or a dreamer in the dream, bitter when waking up from it, was a shrewd, conniving, manipulative, exploitative and nasty piece of work, just as much as what's attributed to Allen Klein. This was not a man who being an artist himself had the best interests of the Arts. He cared only about money, money and money. He did not care what was done to Grand Funk Railroad, even though they made him a multi-millionaire through their popularity. And they were very very popular. They were the first band to have multiple platinum albums all in a row. They sold out Shea Stadium in 72 hours. There were riots outside one of their shows when not enough tickets were sold. Peter Grant pulled the plug on their opening act status for Led Zeppelin when it was very clear the opening act was better than the main act. Literally cut their power during their performance and booted them off the tour. And Zeppelin fans state that Peter Grant should solely be accountable for this action, and not the members of Zeppelin. But I doubt that Jimmy Page was not knowledgable of Grant's actions. My inclination is to believe page and Grant were very tightly knit, and did know eachother's choices and actions. You have Terry Knight stating that Peter Grant held him by the throat telling him he wanted Grand Funk Railroad off the stage NOW. And when it didn't happen, he cut their power.
Terry Knight was most definitely an Inside Man. (and again, I realise this may be more relevant in the thread devoted to this claim.) But an inside man for who. The Beatles or his employer, Capitol Records.
Which brings me to the subject of Nemperor Records, and the death of Tommy Bolin. But that's another subject. It appears that when Bolin quit The James Gang (just before joining Deep Purple) James Gang members approached Jimmy McCulloch (of WINGS) to join the band. Why? Well Jimmy by 1974 was complaining that he was earning nothing while being in Wings, and doing nothing as well. Nothing was happening, and Wings just was not a working entity to his satisfaction. So the James Gang looked like a good band to join. Who stopped this from happening? It seems Linda McCartney got word of it, and any move by McCulloch was stopped from leaving Wings. By 1975 of course "his" decision to stay seemed a wise one. Until you get to his death by morphine poisoning (not heroin overdose) and an open verdict suggesting enough evidence to claim foul play. If not outright murder. Why bring Nemperor up? Well, because Nemperor was a Brian Epstein involved record company. Why bring up Tommy Bolin? I don't know. It was going into the history of Grand Funk Railroad and the wonderful Terry Knight, that brought me to the James Gang and Jimmy McCulloch. And Nemperor. Will I chase it? Hmmm. Unsure.

George turned backwards in the center square. Doesn't Paul turned backwards on the back of the Sgt. Pepper album mean he's dead? in Help!, The Cult of Kali chases Ringo and the lads, intending to sacrifice Ringo as he wears their sacrificial ring. Help! Brought to you by EastmanColor "For I have got another girl." Yesterday, The Night Before, "But as of today, well I've got somebody that's new." Paul's songs on Help! contain the premise of yesterday vs. today, the changing of the guard, that was then, this is now. He also says, "I've just seen a face" and asks, "Tell me what you see?" And what was the B-side to the Help! single? I'm Down.in Help! John sings about how his life has changed in oh so many ways. in Yes It Is, Lennon hints at the death of a former lover, in Girl he sings, "Will she still believe it when she's dead?" "And then while I'm away" "You say you will love me if I have to go" "One day you'll look to see I've gone. And now the time has come, and so my love I must go" "I lost someone who's near to me, I'm a loser, and I'm not what I appear to be"Some could claim precognition with this stuff. But the Beatles themselves had nothing to do with the Saturday Morning cartoons by Al Brodax. Which were produced in 1965 and aired in late-65 through 1966. The 1965 album Rubber Soul begins with Baby You Can Drive My Car, they then continue with other songs such as This Bird Has Flown, Nowhere Man, I'm Looking Through You (you have changed), and Run For Your Life. And during their 1965 Ed Sullivan appeaerance, after Paul sings Yesterday, Lennon says, "Thank you Paul, that was just like him." In 1966 the Yesterday and Today album is released. Not only do we have gruesome imagery, but allusions to Osiris being chopped into 14 pieces. Also alluding to the 'yesterday' of Beatlemania, and the 'today' of the new changing Beatles. The album was quickly replaced with a new image. Alluding to Osiris being put into a box. Notice they used a flipped image on the cover. Paul's hair was parted on his right that day - another thing that started occurring more often in 1967. From the Rosecrucian/Alchemical text Atalanta Fugiens, Michael Maier, 1617 Notice dismembered man in back, man in box in front. Emblem 44: Typhon kills Osiris by deceit, and disperses his limbs. But the famous Isis gathered them together. Atalanta Fugiens, Michael Maier, 1617. www.levity.com/alchemy/atl41-45.htmlOne of the central themes of the Revolver album is death, even Tomorrow Never Knows was inspired by Timothy Leary's The Psychedelic Experience, which was based on The Tibetan Book of the Dead, which prepares the reader for death. Leary states in his book that the art of dying is just as important as the art of living. The Beatles and Leary were mutual fans of each other.

Speaking of Esoteric / Occult imagery.... I'm not sure I ever noticed this, but on the Alternate "Yesterday and Today" cover (trunk version) Lennon sort of resembles "The Hanged Man" from the Rider Waite tarot deck, with his leg positioning.
Just kinda jumped out at me.
