I enjoyed watching it but clearly it's fake - George Harrison supposedly saying this from his hospital bed after an attempted stabbing which affected his lungs and saying it in such a flowing way. The accent sounds similar but is a good imitator.
Who made this? Is it another Neil Aspinall/Ringo Starr/possibly Paul or whoever he now is McCartney effort to do a Winged Beetle in a different way? Neill was alive then.
It's all very clever but it leave you wondering if this whole PID effort now is not simply a way to make money. There are reasons to believe the Beatles were never as rich as people thought and what we now know about Brian Epstein's serious gambling problems and debts to the Krays makes you wonder if some of their money was spent that way. We also have interesting questions about just what EMI's purpose was other than making music and who controlled it.
Somebody on here some time ago, can't remember the thread, suggested that Paul was broke around the time he created Wings. Perhaps this is all about money, it often is.

I have to admit, I am not convinced by the accent, also where it is stated re "Rita the girl who hitched a lift was Heather Mills": this could not be the case as she was not born then. Though I felt many of the clues that were explained therein were most interesting as in "Eleanor Rigby" being about the funeral of Paul "nobody came"...I don't think George would be speaking like that after being stabbed several times within an inch of his heart (it was not just attempted) though it is possible that George did leave a "Last Testament" so the truth could be told after his death but this one may be in code of some sort; it still does not explain everything as well as a few red herrings. I also think that there is a puzzle surrounding the wealth of The Beatles; considering that they lost out on the merchandising deal and Brian Epstein did take a large percentage of their earnings (fair enough, they would never have made it without him anyway); but also Lennon/McCartney did not get the publishing rights to their songs as this was owned by Dick James and Northern Songs. As for George and Ringo, George was nowhere near as prolific a songwriter as John and Paul (whoever Paul was) and Ringo wrote virtually nothing so would not have royalties from that either. Also, George lost a lot of money over the Bangladesh concert as he did not register it as a charity and had to pay tax to the Inland Revenue. He also was sued by the Chiffons over the "plagiarism" with "My Sweet Lord" and had to pay them too; that being his biggest hit record after The Beatles finished. Then there was the fiasco of Apple; in that they had many hangers-on and people on the payroll (though Mal Evans was only paid £38 per week). When the Apple boutique closed, for example, they gave everything away free: first come first served and they also gave £1,000,000 to Magic Alex for his inventions. Apparently at the time after Brian's death in 1967 they were on the verge of bankruptcy. This would be similar to many 'sixties groups of the time (and later) who though earning vast amounts of money at the height of their fame, ended up with virtually nothing, many people having their fingers in the pie. So where did the vast wealth come from in perpetuity?

Perhaps this is all about money, it often is. ************************************************************************************************************* Considering that by this time it was not Paul but Faul or whoever masquerading as JPM; then that person was not a Beatle, therefore, did not have the money The Beatles had (or were supposed/should have had); that person had to make their own money and though the contract was supposed to be until The Beatles (or Beatles) were wound up, that individual didn't want to stop (or Linda wanted to be a rock star I think it said in George's "Testament"). Also, if Faul really wanted to have a rock band, he wouldn't have had Linda in it and I think in many peoples' eyes it made him lose credibility. But, yes of course, it was about money. The Beatles as an entity were a honeypot for others; I think they became disillusioned and frightened by 1965/1966. (Didn't John say at one point he was down to his last £40,000 and decided to invest in an island (or 2):one a Greek island, the other off Southern Ireland that was given away to a commune after John visited it only once I read). They were always giving things away. Nowadays, touring is a moneyspinner, hence all the old/ancient bands going on tour selling their merchandise etc. They STOPPED touring as it wasn't making money in those days and then the death threats in the Phillipines. Back to George, he became a virtual recluse (why?) as did John in the last 5 years of his life......maybe George's injuries were worse than we were led to believe and it led to his early death being blamed on cancer?

It was made by a guy called Joel Gilbert for Highway 61 productions and features a frankly insulting attempt at a Liverpool accent. Poor George would be spinning in his grave if he could hear this laughable attempt at mimicry. I am not aware of any Aspinall/Starr or McCartney involvement, though I am surprised that McCartney, MPL or Apple haven't had it squashed. However, lest anyone doubt that it is a fake, here is a screenshot from Highway 61's website that declares the video to be a spoof mockumentary!
