Paul of all people, in 1966 of all years.
“If one of us dropped out, the group would break up.”
Tiger Beat magazine April
1966“…without Ringo, John, Paul and George working together as a team, there could be no Beatles. Not one of them could ever be replaced. And many times each Beatle has said, “If one of us were to quit… we’d all have to quit. We wouldn’t know how to get along without everyone one of us working together.”
And then top it off with a feature article on some PIDers' favorite 'Faul', Keith Allison. With the headline, “This Paul McCartney look alike has
exciting plans!”
“…these fab assets…”
“And he does look like Paul McCartney. He’s handsome,
tall…”
“Standing 6”1’ tall and weighing 165 pounds… Hidden behind his brawny build…”
“In 1963 and 1964 he worked with Peter Asher & Gordon"
His hair parts on the left, and it looks like his earlobes are attached. Keith's beard grows differently than P/Faul's, too.
If Keith was a replacement, why'd they make him look less like Paul?
Keith did a cover of ‘The Girl Can’t Help It’, which is the theme song to the film starring Beatle friend and car-crash victim Jayne Mansfield.

Not only is Paul holding a cigarette in his right hand, a la Abbey Road, and the mural quite similar to the Sgt. Pepper crowd, but next to his head is an image of Jayne Mansfield from the film It Takes a Thief. In Which she plays a car thief named
Billie. In 1967 Jayne died in a car wreck and was scalped by the ceiling of the car, thus losing her hair.
Legend has it that the Beatles were inspired to finish recording The White Album after watching The Girl Can't Help It on tv. A film that was a big inspiration to them in their early days.
(was Don't Pass Me By about her?)
And speaking of Billie
Patty Duke starred as the title character in the 1965 film Billie. In it she has a pet sheepdog*.
Patty Duke also had the famous tv show where she played her own identical cousin.
Patty Duke's husband John Astin played his own twin in Candy, which starred Ringo.
Ringo played his own identical doppelganger in the 1978 tv movie Ringo.
Hayley
Mills starred in the original Parent Trap, the theme song to which is "Let's get together,
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!" McCartney (allegedly) wrote the soundtrack for her film The Family Way.
Lindsay Lohan also played her own twin in Parent Trap (1998). She again played her own twin named
Dakota Moss in the film
I Know Who Killed Me, which came out the same year as Chapter 27 in which she played Jude, with Jared Leto as Mark David Chapman. In I Know Who Killed Me, her boyfriend is named Jerrod. Jared Leto plays his own identical doppelganger in his band's video '
The Kill (Bury Me)' which was filmed as an homage to The Shining. (In I Know Who Killed Me, Dakota's twin is buried alive).
The other members of the band also play their own identical doppelgangers, and towards the end, they perform at a ball in which all the attendees are twins.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yvGCAvOAfMJared Leto described the meaning of the ‘The Kill (Bury Me)’, "It's really about a relationship with yourself. It's about confronting your fear and confronting the truth about who you are." He has also said it is about "confrontation as a crossroads" — coming face-to-face with who you really are.

The three line III design is very similar to glyphs used by Jared Leto’s band, 30 Seconds to Mars.

Jared Leto also starred as the murderer in
Lonely Hearts.
He also played
Paul Allen, the murder victim in American Psycho, which is rife with mixed identities, just like Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead.
And he starrs as Paul Gardner in
Urban Legend.
(In American Psycho, his apartment overlooks Central Park, as did Lennon’s. Leto stars with Christian 'Batman' Bale, who plays his own identical twin in The Prestige, while Hugh Jackman's character clones himself).
Sheryl Lee plays Laura
Palmer, the murder victim in
Twin Peaks, and also plays her own identical cousin. Kyle MacLachlan plays Agent Cooper, the investigator of her murder. He also plays
Paul Atreides in Dune, and his father is
Leto Atreides.
Sheryl Lee also plays Beatle friend Astrid Kirchherr in the film Backbeat.
Jeff Bridges plays his own doppelganger in Tron. He is also the main character in the 1976 King Kong which takes place on the Twin Towers, and he signs a check dated Sept. 11th in The Big Lebowski, where he plays the title character, and there is another Mr. Lebowski in the film.
*Patty Dukes dog in Billie is named Clown.
In 1967, Jane Asher starred in The Winter's Tale with Laurence Harvey (the manchurian candidate in The Manchurian Candidate).
In The Winter's Tale, Asher's character is adopted by a
shepherd, whose son goes by the name "
Clown". She becomes a shepherd girl, and is later rescued by a woman named
Paulina.
Later, a statue is made of her biological mother and it comes to life.

In 1965, Asher starred in Pygmalion, a story about falling in love with a statue and bringing it to life.
