Most people here are familiar with, and for some reason annoyed by, the research I've done showing showing that PFaul(s) has been doing things right-handed for as far back as can be adequately documented: the early-60s. (Everything from lighting lighters, batting, pouring, drinking, eating, and drumming). (Cue the, "that's normal" comments, in tandem with the "But you can tell 'the real Paul' died because 'Faul' holds a kazoo with his right hand" comments). While we see him/them using the right hand regularly in both eras, there doesn't seem to be any occurrence of any writing or playing guitar right-handed, in a photo that's not flipped. To this day I do not know where people are getting their surety that there is a right-handed McCartney at some point. All I can see is either left-handed or ambidextrous. And for what it's worth; I have two friends that are left handed and play the drums the way depicted in the post above, and I am right-handed and play drums with left foot on kick drum & right foot on hi-hat. For what ever reason, it's more conducive for me that way. Plus, Ringo is left handed, and plays drums the way depicted in the OP.

Interesting though that in the 64 and 69 shots, he appears (for a moment) to be playing the hi-hat with his left hand, and the snare with his right, which ... most right handed drummers would not do, and go for playing the hi-hat with your right hand (as it's the stronger and more accurate) and play the snare with your left - crossing the two hands. In both these photos he appears to do the opposite, saying his stronger and preferred hand is his left.

Ugh, thank you! That is what I forgot to mention.
My two left-handed friends that play drums the way depicted in these photos, both play 'open-armed' rather than 'cross-armed'. This is indicative of their dominant left-handedness. As we see in all of these photos from '64-'69.
All in all, there aren't two standard ways to play drums; a right-handed and a left-handed way. There are a combination of ways, and one's handedness does not always dicatate it. Just like skateboarding, there are four ways to do so: left foot forward, right foot back kick left foot forward kick, right foot back right foot forward, left foot back kick right foot forward kick, left foot back.
When I first started skateboarding, the kids at school thought there was a 'right-handers' way and a 'left-handers' way. I skateboarded right foot forward, left foot back kick, which was thought to be the 'left-handers' way. I thought it was odd, but figured I was just a freak, or something. When I got to college, my roommate was left-handed and skateboarded the opposite style I did.
Unlike writing or playing a guitar, there really isn't just one of two ways to do things like drumming, and skateboarding.
For the PIDers keeping score at home, I'm not saying there's only one Paul; you know me, I don't believe that. But unless evidence is found of him writing or playing guitar right-handed, even things like drumming isn't going to hold much water in claiming he was replaced by a right-handed impostor. (Keeping in mind, guitarists often play around with guitars opposite-handed during informal opportunities. Though I still have never seen McCartney even doing that. Performing guitar live of for a recording would be something. Although, I also know many left-handers that play guitar right-handed).

The photo above, with Ringo on bass, shows Paul looking like a typical left handed individual behind a right handed drum set, most left handed players look exactly like that- his left hand is on the hi hat, it goes there automatically because that's the hand he leads with. That man in that photo is left handed. When you see Bill, Faul, Macca or whatever his name is, behind the drums his right hand would go for the hi hat, automatically. I think he learned to play left handed bass and guitar because the job demanded it.
Here is copy paste from a comment I left on the Paul is dead miss him site, you have to register to read that site-
I agree that Bill is right handed. Ringo is left handed, however his drum setup is right handed. This is Very rare and some have said that it contributes to the unique "Ringo sound". The fact is most left handed drummers play a left handed setup. We are asked to believe that Bill plays with a right handed setup because he learned on Ringo's drums and didn't bother to reverse the kit. We are asked to believe that Ringo and Bill both prefer to play drums with a right handed set up. I put playing and instrument in a different category than holding cigarettes, ice cream etc, ie it's more difficult. I figure if a left handed individual prefers to lay down the meter with his left hand on bass and guitar, he would also prefer to lay down 'downbeats' with his left foot on the bass drum, lead the meter with is left hand on cymbals and hi hat, and hit the back beats with his right hand. The probability of two left handed individuals in the same group preferring to play right handed drum setup is IMO zero
I will add-
in the mid 60s these were the four most famous people in music, and 50% of the group is left handed and likes to play drums with right handed set up,
probability? less than zero
Also, the origingal Paul was often photographed at the drums, but I've heard no recordings of him drumming so I'll say he was really fooling around. Bill, Faul, Macca or whatever his name is, is IMO an excellent drummer.
